Where is Chiriko?
/N: When I said that Hotohori had golden hair i meant to put golden brown. His hair is golden brown. Sorry. My fault. Now read my fic.
###########Where's Chiriko?############
No one said anything. They just looked at Mitsukake begging for it to be a lie. Miaka dead. It wasn't possible.
Tama fell to the ground bring Hotohori with him. He cried in to Hotohori's shoulder. He wasn't in love with Miaka anymore, but he still loved her. Yui just kept staring in front of her like she was dead. Korin has curled into a tight ball and was shaking. Miaka's mother slid out of her chair and screamed at the air. Tasuki wrapped his arms Nuriko and held him as he cried.
"I'll give you all sometime," The doctor said as he turned to leave the waiting room.
"Where is Chiriko?" Korin asked without lifting her head.
No one answered her.
Tasuki moved Nuriko to a chair nearby and they sat down. Tasuki barely crying, he was focused on making sure Nuriko was okay.
"Where is Chiriko?"Korin asked again, lifting her head up slightly.
No one answered.
Yui started to shiver violently. She still didn't cry and her eyes didn't lose the glazed look thed. Bd. But she was shaking.
"Where is Chiriko?" Korin asked again, a little more desperately, "Listen to me!" Korin yelled at the room, "Where is Chiriko?!"
"I told you!" Nuriko sobbed, "He said he'd be here as fast as he could! I don't know where he was and you know who he was with!"
"Some thing happened!" Korin insisted, "Something bad happened to them on their way here! Chiriko is in trouble!"
A nurse entered the waiting room and walked over to Korin, "Hello dear. Is everything okay?" The young nurse smiled at Korin.
"No everything is not okay! Miaka just died and my brother is in trouble! And no one is listening to me!"
"Why is your brother in trouble? Is he here? In the hospital?"
"No he's not. He was driving here with his-" Korin paused, "His friend. He never came. Look something happened to him on his way here! I know it!"
The nurse put her hand on Koran's should, "How do you know?"
"He's my twin. I can feel when he's in pain, when something's wrong. And something is really wrong."
Everyone was watching Korin talk to the nurse. No one said anything but the kept crying.
"A car crash!" Korin jumped up, "They crashed the car a few blocks from here!"
"Now now," The nurse said calmly, "It's sounds like you've be through a lot tonight, I'm sure your brother is fine."
At that moment the emergency room doors burst open and several men came running in pushing gurnies. Two of them. Korin stood up on her toes and peered at them.
"CHIRIKO!" She screamed, running over to the men with the gurnnies, "what happened?" She asked franticly.
"No time little girl. We got to get these two some help."
"Wait! Chiriko!" Korin tried to run after the men as they disappeared behind two white door. But three nurses grabbed her and held her back.
"You can't go in there hon'," One of them told her.
"Chiriko!" Korin yelled at the closed doors, "Chiriko!"
"You know those boys?" Another asked after Korin and stopped yelling.
"One is my twin," Korin cried, "What happened?"
"A car crash dear. Look, there are some police here waiting for those two to be able to talk. It looks like they hit some people. They might want to ask you a few questions."
"Nuriko," Korin turned her head to look at her older brother, "Come with me," She turned back to the nurses, "He's my other brother," Korin told them, her voice tight.
The nurses all nodded.
Nuriko was still clinging to Tasuki as he walked over to Korin, "He's coming too," Nuriko whispered, "He lives with us."
"Okay, I think they were this way," One of the nurse guided the three of them down a white hallway. At the end two cops were leaning against the wall talking, "Sirs," The nurse said, "These three know the victims of that car crash. I was wondering if you might want to talk to them."
"Why thank. Yeah, we do."
"Well then I'll just leave you guys alone. Bye now," The nurse turned and walked down the hall.
"So," One of the cops began, stepping away from the wall, "You know on of the kids in the car crash?"
"Um," Korin started, "We know both. And Chichiri isn't a kid. He's 25."
"And the other one?"
"Chiriko. He's 17. Is there anything you need to know? Will you tell me what happened?" Tears were falling from Korin's' eyes and she couldn't stop them.
"They were hit head on by a semi. Marical they didn't die. The older one, Chichiri, he got a nasty cut over his left eye. He'll have a scar there. And they younger one, Chiriko, he got a piece of glass through his chest. It was close to his heart, but it didn't hit it."
Korin feel against Nuriko and Tasuki who were behind him, "No... Will he make it?" Korin whispered.
The cop frowned, "I don't know. I just don't know."
"Why are you here?" Nuriko asked, holding his sister up as Tasuki was holding him up.
"Some others involved in the crash didn't make it. We were wondering if we could find out if those two were under the influence..."
"No," Korin said flatly, "Chiriko is only 17. He doesn't drink. Ever. And Chichiri is like a fucking monk. He doesn't do anything bad," A sad smile graced Korin's face, "Well no one's perfect. I'm sure he does something's wrong. Sometimes. But I know he doesn't drink. They weren't drunk. I can tell you that much."
"we were also wondering, what is Chiriko and Chichiri's relationship?"
Korin's eyes widened, "Why do you ask?"
"We they were found they were holding hands. We were just wondering how they know each other."
"Chichiri is out teacher. He teaches history," Korin didn't realize what she had said until it was to late.
"Do teachers and students normally hold hands at you school?"
"Chiri is like a family friend! He is more then a teacher to all of us. We has there when daddy left. He was the only teacher to help0 Nuriko when all the kids would tease him about cross dressing. he was the one that helped Tasuki pass his classes when his parents were going to kick him out if he didn't pass! He has always been there for us! We all owe him so much! That's why Chiriko was hand! That and he was probably scared he was going to die!" Korin straightened up and stepped away from Nuriko and Tasuki.
"That makes sense. look we are not needed here until they wake up. You should ask one of the nurses when you can see them."
"Bye," Korin said coldly, turning away from the cops and walking down the white hallway. Tasuki and Nuriko followed.
############Call Mom##########
Korin staggered her way back to the waiting room, Tasuki and Nuriko behind her, "Some one has to call mom," Korin said weakly, looking back at Nuriko, "Who?"
"Not me," Nuriko replied, "I already had to call Tama and you and Chiriko. I'm not going to be the one to call mom. She needs to know but she might call Shane."
"So? Would it be so awful if she called daddy?"
"Yes it would and stop calling him daddy. Daddy is some one that cares about you."
"I think he deserves to know that his son is in the hospital."
"I don't think he deserves to know anything about us. If mom calls him, which I know she will, he might come to see Chiriko."
"Well then that proves he cares about us. If he visits Chiriko. If he hated us like you seem to think he does, then he wouldn't come."
"Oh he'll come. He'll come just to fuck with us because that's the kind of person he is. He'll come just to make us think he cares then he'll leave. he will just up and leave with out a word."
"I think daddy should get more credit then you give him."
"The man left Korin. Do you even know why?"
"He and mom got divorced," Korin mumbled.
"Why?"
Korin turned around abruptly, "I don't know! You know why? YOU never told me! Now can we not talk about daddy now! If you haven't noticed it's not the best time! Now I'm going to go call mom and tell her her son is hurt. If she calls dad there is nothing I can do about that!" Korin went running down the rest of the hall, leaving Nuriko and Tasuki standing there in the white wall hell.
"Why did you never tell her why your dad left?" Tasuki asked after several minutes of silence.
"How would that go? 'Oh I'm so sorry Korin but dad left us because I dress like a girl and kiss boys. It's all your brothers fault because I am such a fag?' I'm sorry Tasuki but I don't think that would work out very well." Nuriko's voice was bitter and angary, "I couldn't tell my sister that her daddy left because of me. She's a daddy's girl/ Always has been always will be. There's nothing I can do about that. I couldn't tell her what her father really is. A sad miserable pathetic drunk that couldn't care less about his children. A man that cheats on his loving wife and beats his oldest son up because he's gay. That' who he is. But Korin didn't see that. She saw a loving father, a kind gently father. Who am I to tell her it's not true? Who I am to tell her the truth. I'm nobody. i may be her brother, but I'm not her father. Only Shane can make her see the truth."
Nuriko started walking again. Tasuki ran after him, "Wait! You're right Nuriko. Shane is the only one that can make her see the truth. She wont see it if she doesn't want to or isn't ready. Just be there for whr when she is ready," Tasuki put his arm are Nuriko's shoulders and pulled him close, "You are the sweetest person I have ever known Nuriko. I want you to know that."
Nuriko leaded against Tasuki and sighed, "This is to much Tasuki. Everything is to much. I don't know if I can handle it," More tears fell from Nuriko's rose eyes.
"I'll help you Nuriko. I'll help you. Don't let this stuff kill you okay?"
"As long as you are with me I'll be o I l I love much Tasuki," Nuriko hugged Tasuki closer to him, "Never leave me."
Tasuki kissed Nuriko's head, "I wont my love. I will never leave you."
