Chapter 9
DISCLAIMERS IN CHAPTER 1
The Sohma family members awoke to the sound like a horrible scream. Turning toward it, they saw.
Tohru was being ravaged by the cat. Akito was crying while holding her there for the cat to take. And Tohru… Tohru’s face was a perfect mixture of pain and ecstasy. She cried out, “I love you. I love you, Kyo. I love you all!”
She felt the monster near its pinnacle, and she shouted, “Akito! Are you ready?” The Sohma family saw Akito’s tears fly as she shook her head yes. Then Tohru cried, “Do it NOW!” as the beast threw back his head and howled at his completion.
They saw a blade flash.
Then blood erupted, and both the goddess and her proxy were covered with it. The beast lowered his head to drink.

“NO!!!!!!”
That single cry echoed through the room, reverberating in each of their hearts.
As the beast drank the blood, and drank the blood, it appeared to get smaller and smaller. And out of its back, fell an orange haired boy – unconscious. Collapsing into a puddle of blood and semen and Tohru’s own juices.
“Kyo!” Kagura jumped up and raced to him, pulling him away from the monster, pulling him out of the puddle of… wrongness.
Hiro leaped over the table to Kisa and held her while she cried. Rin ran to Haru and they threw themselves at each other, crying.
Ayame, Ritsu, Kureno, and Momiji sat still and in shock, unable to speak or move.
But Shigure, Yuki, and Hatori slowly walked toward the scene of violence, as the monster became smaller, and more misty, and eventually disappeared.
They all knew the curse had been lifted. And there was joy in it. But at what price?
