Chapter 9
Pirates of Route 115
A/N: This is in no way a parody to Pirates of the Caribbean... so don’t expect Jack Sparrow to suddenly pop up into this fic. =D
Jack Sparrow: Hey, I like to be mentioned in this fic physically!
Author Slayer.EXE: Oh shut up, Jack... >_>
Jack Sparrow: Shut up? I don’t think I know that term... am I supposed to shut your pie hole?
Author Slayer.EXE: *He shoves a pie in Jack's face* Yes.
Jack Sparrow: ... I don’t like coconut!
Author Slayer.EXE: *Throws him into Kyogre’s mouth and said ancient PokéMon dives into the deep ocean as the screams of Jack grow faint.*
Authorness RoseMan.EXE: Uhmm.... *Just laughs hard*
The day was hot as they traveled across the waters to Dewford Town on Shippuuga, David’s Gyarados. The boys packed their shirts into their bags they carried and traded their pants for their swimming trunks, and May wore her two piece bikini with skirt tied to her waist, enjoying the breeze of the wind, the washing of the waves...
“Are we there yet?” Nene asked.
... Disliking the annoyance of the same question spoken again, and again, and again.
“For the umpteenth time: NO!” They shouted.
Ten minutes later, “... Are we there yet?” She asked.
Brendan, Wally, May, and David all sighed.
“Is Nene really that annoying?” Wally asked.
“Yes she is...”
Nene’s ears twitched when she heard that, and David collapsed face first after a small Thundershock attack. “I’m not annoying, I just need sugar,” she said, moving her lightning bolt tail away from David.
“And have you bouncing around, no thanks,” Wally spoke up.
Nene pouted and turned around.
“You alright?” Brendan asked.
David groaned, and nodded as Shippuuga sweatdropped, but kept on barreling through the water.
* * *
“Sir, I’ve spotted something,” yelled a guy from up on the crow’s nest.
The captain peered through his binoculars, and then grinned. “The boss told me about that young man. George and Jim haven’t been able to find them, so we shall do what the boss wants and get rid of that man and his friends.”
“Shall we start up the boat them?” The skipper questioned.
“Yes, but keep at a slow pace, we shall not be discovered just yet...”

“This feels real nice,” May said, “The gentle breeze of the wind and the warm weather, its real relaxing.”
Brendan smirked. “The summer weather isn’t all that’s nice,” He said with a grin. May heard this and squealed as Brendan glomped her.
David and Wally just sweatdropped.
“Why don’t we head over to that nearby sand island guys? I am sure Gyarados can use the rest?”
“Yeah, sure,” was Brendan's answer.
“Why do I have the feeling you just want to get into May’s bikini?” David thought out loud, before the white haired teen tackled him and began ruffling up his hair.
After five minutes, Gyarados was allowed to roam free for awhile while David, Wally, and Brendan began setting up the collapsible table and chairs from David’s three Pokécapsules. May along with Nene, Jamie who was released from her Pokéball, and Delcatty went seashell hunting. Wally’s PokéMon team was of course his Gardevoir, along with Roselia, Magneton, Altaria, and Cacturne.
“So, what will be for lunch?”
“For our PokéMon, Pokéfood and for us, some PB&J’s.”
“I love a good peanut butter and jelly sandwich.”
David grinned. “I’ll get on with the sandwiches.”
When May had returned with a small collection of shells, lunch was ready, and the foursome ate their sandwiches.
“Sir, do we attack?”
“No, not yet... wait until tomorrow,” the captain said. The boat hid itself from view, and the four were unaware of the enemy nearby. They only enjoyed the company of each other. Night soon fallen, and with David’s tent pitched up, he fell asleep outside, while his three friends had shared the tent.
“Axl?”
“Yeah Zero?”
Zero stared at the fire for a bit as David slept peacefully near the tent, before looking at his friend. “Do you have this feeling that something bad will happen soon?”
Axl shook his head. “Sometimes I do, but c’mon, we’re at a small island. What’s the worst that can happen here other than a hurricane storm stirred up by Lugia?”
Zero nodded a bit. “Yeah... I guess you’re right... but, I still have that feeling we’re being watched or something.”
Axl shivered a bit. “Now that you mentioned it, I have that feeling as well.”
“Gah, I must be hallucinating. Our friends are asleep, and we’re the only ones still awake.” Zero grabbed a stock and poked the fire a bit, watching the tiny embers float into the air and fading away, “Hey Axl, go grab some pieces of that garden hose out of the bag.”
Axl looked up, and did what Zero said, pulling out a long piece of garden hose. After he snipped them up, he tossed four small pieces into the fire. The result was some of the flames gaining a green or blue tint at the base of the fire.
“Hey that’s cool,” Axl mumbled.
Zero smiled. “Yeah it is. When I was still a wild PokéMon before my path crossed with David, I once watched a family camp in the wilds near Lake Rage in Johto. The father of his two kids showed them a neat trick by putting some small pieces of a garden hose into the fire which gave the flames colored tints, mainly green or blue, and sometimes pink.”
“Cool trick,” Axl commented, seeing some bits of pink in the fire as the hose burned up more. Zero smiled and nodded.

The next day, they had fun playing at the beach, Wally building a sandcastle, and the PokéMon playing volleyball leading into the afternoon. Zero and Axl started up one of their little spars, and the PokéMon stopped playing to watch (and also make votes on who would win). Meanwhile with May, Delcatty purred as she dug up a large seashell, while Nene and Jamie were playing with a Shellder that unburied itself from the sand.
“Sir, The girl is away from the main group.”
“Alright, have our men sneak up from their hiding areas and capture her. We’ll use her to lure our enemy in.”
The skipper radioed orders, and three men in disguise snuck close to May’s position.
Nene’s ears twitched a bit, before she unleashed a Thunder attack, and shocked three men that swam through the sand. This alerted the boys and May, as their PokéMon ran over.
“Damn it, alright men, make landfall and attack with your PokéMon!”
The boat that was out of view of the trees came into view and shot up onto shore before the steel doors slid open, and numerous PokéMon came out. They were mostly Mightyena, Camerupt, Houndoom, and then a Metagross.
“Shit... pirates!” Axl cried out as he unleashed a wall of flames that separated them from May and the others.
“Who the hell are they?”
“See those D symbols on their caps. They’re Dark Nation goons. We have to escape this island now!”
A few Houndoom burst through the flames and attacked with Fire Blasts. Maya and Gardevoir generated an energy shield that blocked the blasts.
“Damn it... too many...”
Zero dashed in and struck out a lot of the PokéMon with his Agility. Nene and Jamie were attacking with their own speed and swiftness, as Wally’s Cacturne, Magneton, and Roselia, attacked with Pin Missile, Thunder Wave, and Petal Dance.
“Shippuuga! Hyper Beam!” Shippuu roared as it burst from the lake of the island, and unleashed a devastating Hyper Beam, that KO’d any remaining enemy PokéMon.
Most of the men retrieved their PokéMon and retreated back to the ship, but Metagross unleashed a wave of energy that slammed into Gyarados, KOing it, as well as most of the other’s PokéMon.
May, Brendan, Wally, and David had to recall most of their friends, and only left Zero, Axl, Maya, Gardevoir, Crawdaunt, and Tropius.
“Well, David... my boss is very pissed at you...”
David only gave him the finger.
“Useless taunt. Why don’t I let Metagross deal with your PokéMon before I assassinate you?”
“Metagross!” It roared, firing off a Shadow Ball. The ghost attack slammed into Gardevoir and Maya, sending them crashing into both David and Wally.
“David! Wally! Damn you hunk of steel!” Axl jumped high into the air, as his body resembled a cross, “Burning Cross!” He fired a burning crucifix, and the attack was able to do major damage, but Metagross roared and knocked Axl out with a powerful Psychic attack.
“Ahahahahahaha! My Metagross is extremely powerful! You won’t be able to take it out!”
“Crawdaunt, Hydro Pump!”
“Tropius, Solar Beam!”
“Tri-Attack!”
Zero unleashed his triple elemental beam attack, alongside Tropius’ Solar Beam, and on the other side of Zero’s attack was Hydro Pump. The force of the attacks had its effect, but Metagross bounced back, and struck with Earthquake. Tropius and Crawdaunt cried out in pain, and Zero was knocked off his feet.
He jumped away, but the other two were tackled down, forcing May and Brendan to recall their PokéMon.
“Zero... hurry, stop him now,” David cried out, still in pain.
Zero growled and nodded, feeling weak. He was a steel type as well, so he should endure most of Metagross’ attacks.
“Air Cutter!” He unleashed a distraction of boomerang looking blasts. While Metagross blocked the attacks, Zero smirked as he charged in and nailed with Metal Claw. This did normal damage, but it angered Metagross. It swung out, but Zero dodged it as he flipped into a somersault away and onto a nearby palm tree.
“Metagross!” It fired off another wave of punishing psychic energy, and Zero dived down to evade the wave of energy.
“Eat this! Tri-Attack!” He fired off another triple beam attack, the fire element having the most effect. He then fired another Tri-Attack, and this one had its effect on the steel PokéMon.
“Meta..... gross...” It collapsed in a heavy thud, and the Pirate leader was flabbergasted, and babbling like an idiot.
“NOOOOOOOO! You mother fucker!” He pulled out a shotgun from his belt and attempted to fire, but a well-aimed coconut shell knocked him out cold.
Zero smirked, cracking the second one he had before drinking the coconut milk inside it. “Nice hit or should I have aimed lower?”
“Should have aimed lower,” Brendan joked, “That was a good aim Zero.”
Zero still kept his cocky smile. “Are Wally and David alright?”
May checked them over, as Maya and Gardevoir were kneeling beside their Trainers. “Yeah they are. Still a bit sore... so now what? Shippuuga is out cold, most of our PokéMon are out cold... and we’re stranded.”
David, who was sitting upright next to Wally, looked at the boat. He glanced at Zero, and Zero knew that look that David had, the evil sneer.

Most of the men were unable to fight back since their PokéMon were out cold, and unable to drive the boat since the wheelhouse was locked – not for long though – as they were left abandoned at the island, David laughing his head off driving the boat away.
“David... that was boat-jacking you know...”
“Ahh who’s going to complain? Shippuu is out and we needed transportation... we’ll be there soon since were on an armored speed boat. Besides, once we get there, we’ll park it near that cave near Dewford Town, and then heal our PokéMon.”
Brendan nodded. “That sounds like a good plan, but now those pirate guys are going to be more than angry after we stolen their boat.” Wally more or less agreed with the white haired teen.
“Ha! They can kiss my sexy ass,” David said.
Maya blushed. “He does have a cute ass...”
The three humans and Wally’s Gardevoir gave Maya a weird look.
“... What? Just a thought... shut up!” And she turned around, blushing.
“Wait, how can you drive a boat?” Brendan suddenly asked, looking at David.
David smirked. “Once had to drive a boat to get away from those Dark Nation goons after I destroyed their marine base outside Lake Rage. So I have some experience.”
To the others, some experience means nightmare.
