Track Nine: I�ve Waited a Long Time to be with You
Tatsuha and Ryuichi managed to make it back to the nurse’s station without getting into any more trouble, although they were once again caught kissing in the elevator by the very same cleaning lady, who this time simply smiled as the doors closed.
As Tatsuha handed the doctor’s coats to the pretty nurse, she practically fainted as Ryuichi smiled and winked at her. She blew him a kiss, then put the coats under the desk she was sitting at just as a rather stern-looking nurse came up to her and began to ask her questions. Still flustered, the nurse began to rummage through the papers that lay in front of her as the couple turned and walked away.
“I’m so glad that Michi’s dad came out of the coma. Isn’t it strange how when she disobeyed him, he got mad enough to wake up?” Ryuichi commented as he took Tatsuha’s hand and walked back toward the room.
“Are…you sure that we should be holding hands like this, Ryu? After all, the halls are pretty busy…” Tatsuha asked, worried as others using the hallway began to notice the couple.
“Naw, I’m sure that they’ll eventually get used to the idea that I have a boyfriend. Besides, I don’t care anymore. I’m happy and in love, and that’s what’s important to me!” the mossy-haired man replied.
The vocalist stopped right outside of Tatsuha’s room and gazed up into his eyes just as Mika opened the door, followed closely by Eiri, Shuichi and Tohma. As they all began yelling and asking questions at once, Tatsuha turned to Ryuichi.
“Are you sure you want to join this crazy family? I’m the only sane one, you know,” he queried, a smirk on his face. Ryuichi turned toward Tatsuha, a mischievous grin on his face.
“I’m sure, Tatsuha. I’ve waited a long time to be with you. Besides, what’s one more nutball?” Ryuichi answered as he reached up for a passionate kiss.
