A Nameless Madness
Jeovi Breaks
Weeks later, the bodies are found, decayed and scavenged along with ten Pokéballs in stasis mode containing badly damaged Pokémon. The worst off is a Ninetales, missing three of his gorgeous tails, suffering a severed front paw, eight cracked ribs, and a broken jaw. The media is only informed of the trainers' identities, and the details of the ruined Ninetales are of course left out. Unfortunately, a few miles away, a certain fox Pokémon is mourning her losses at the hands of her would-be mate.
"Nameless, why would you do such a thing? You killed before out of necessity, but to kill my team members, to kill my trainer, and my poor kits, you've truly become a monster." Jeovi sighs, her body protesting violently with every step she takes as she wanders deeper into the cave. Even the other Pokémon avoid her now, too afraid to face the damaged fox.
"Jeovi, I love you!" An echo fills Jeovi's mind in the voice of Nameless, causing her to suddenly realize why her Zoroark companion suddenly snapped.
"I'm a mother now…These kits are hybrids just like you!" Jeovi's own words fill her mind as she begins to whimper, her body shuddering.
"Trainers used to throw stones at me, Jeovi. I'm a freak, unwanted and attacked wherever I go. Nobody can love me. Nobody ever will." Nameless' voice fills Jeovi's mind from when they were getting to know each other before he evolved. Jeovi's whine becomes a high pitched shriek.
"Conan is their father. He's my mate now." The final words of Jeovi's voice are enough to snap the fox.
"I did this. I turned him into a killer. It's all my fault. I'm the one to blame." Jeovi chants over and over, a shriek still echoing from her broken body as she stares into the distance. Jeovi rises and with unfocused eyes, she walks deep into the cave, towards a small ledge with nearly a dozen red colored boulders the size of Vulpix.
"Hush now my babies, I won't let him hurt you again. We'll be safe. We're all safe." Jeovi mutters before curling up with her stone kits.
A/N: This chapter is short because it's kind of a breaking point in the story. Jeovi blames herself for Nameless' actions, and quite frankly, she's right to do so. The next chapter will go back to Nameless, since after all, it is his story.
