Love For A Soldier

Sitting in the car Amara growled. She had been in traffic for two hours now and was suppose to be at Hotaru’s school for a conference in ten minutes. Beeping the horn she decided that it was time to go. Flooring the gas pedal she drove up onto the side of a building and right out of traffic. Finally coming to a stop in front of Hotaru’s school. Walking into the school she stopped by the office and signed in with a smile. Walking to Hotaru’s class she tapped on the door. The teacher looked up and so did everyone in the class. Nodding her head Amara stepped in and began to talk to the teacher. Hotaru stood up and followed Amara and the teacher into the hallway.
“What’s this all about?” Amara asked the teacher.
“I am worried about Hotaru’s shyness and physical weakness. I wanted to know if you would consider putting her into a special class to help with this problem.” The teacher said a bit reluctantly.
“I will not put my daughter into that kind of class. She is just like all the rest of the kids. She just can’t be as active. Anyway the doctor’s are looking for a way to help. Why would you want to subject her to that? Did you know that kids in a special class get teased more than they do in normal classes? No I refuse.”
“Mr. Tenouh I know that you are worried about your daughter’s well being but I can assure you that she will be just fine in a special class.”
“I said it once and I will say it again. No. Now if you’ll excuse me and Hotaru we need to have a private chat.” The teacher nodded defeatedly and walked away. Amara looked down at her adopted child and smiled.
“I won’t do that to you. Your just the same as all those weirdos you go to school with. Sure you may be physically weak but you poses a great talent that only you can have. Don’t let anyone push you around okay? Now what do you say to a school transfer?”
“Alright Amara-papa!” Hotaru all but screamed enthusiastically.
That night at dinner all the scouts were there and talking about the new evil that was threatening their world.
“So how do we fight it? I mean our Sailor powers didn’t have an effect on them and when we went to use physical combat it just tossed us around like rag dolls. Not even silver crystal power worked on it. Though they did seem to be afraid of the light and of Mar’s fire.” Lita said a little worried about the new threat. Trista looked up a little sheepishly.
“There is a way I can get you to a dimension to get you some training so that you may have a chance.”
“You have but face.” Serena said with a groan.
“I don’t know if I will be able to bring you back. The time we would be going to is in the future. Farther than Crystal Tokyo. Our language is almost 11,000 years old to them and very ancient. It is also very dangerous.”
“So? I mean we have faced dangerous before haven’t we?” Amara asked smiling devilishly. Everyone nodded and agreed to go. Then they agreed that they would meet first thing in the afternoon the next day. After they agreed on that they started to talk about the latest fashions and men.
The next day noon….
Amara and the other scouts had brought with them everything that they thought they would need. Trista teleported them to the time gates and then opened them. As they jumped through they knew that it wasn’t going to be as easy as they thought. They were right. Half way there they hit some turbulence and got separated. Amara fell through the void first and screamed as she realized that she was falling from the upper most parts of the atmosphere.
On the ground D and Doris were beginning to cook lunch when they heard the scream. Running over to a cliff they looked up to see a rapidly falling figure in the air. D jumped up in the air and caught the girl without a second thought. Landing on the ground D set the girl down and looked over at Doris who seemed shocked that he would just do that without thinking. Looking up the girl noticed that she had just been saved by a man. Pushing him away she ged aed a half hearted thank you.
“You could be a little more gracious. D just risked his life to save you!” Doris yelled at her.
“Yeah whatever. I will probably die anyway.”
“Your just upset that a Vampiel saved you aren’t you?”
“No I am upset because a man saved me and what the hell is a Vampiel?” This got the attention of both D and Doris. Someone who doesn’t know what a Vampiel is?
“What did you crawl out from under a rock?”
“No I just time traveled! Jeesh. People think your stupid when you come from a different time.”
“We don’t think your stupid it’s just someone who doesn’t know that a vampiel is a half vampire and half human is amazing.”
“Hey it’s not all that amazing. I’m an alien so don’t go getting all flustered. Hey did you see eight other girls around here?”
“No why?”
“We were traveling together. Now their gone. Great I’ll have to go find them.”
“Wait what’s your name?”
“What’s yours?”
“I’m Doris and this is D.”
“Princess Amara Tenouh of Uranus.”

Well what do you think? It’s my first with Vampire Hunter D in it. I actually didn’t know that it existed until I saw it playing on cable a few days ago. Ever since then I have been dedicated to finding as much out about it as I can. Tell me what you think. If you don’t like it I can always remove it. Ja ne!
