Just Breath My love Just breath

Breath

Chapter One

If someone tells you to breath, you would laugh at them right? Breathing is something we do naturally, we don’t have to think twice about it, or even know that we even if we don’t think about it would happen anyways. That is how it work, its not like telling your self to eat, to drink, breathing is just…automatic.

To breath is to signal the primal urge to live, and we all know that everything creature will let that primal urge take over if you have to.

So again, if someone asks you to breath, you would laugh. Any sane person would because in the end you must breath. Its fate, it’s a known fact, and there is no way around it. For if you don’t breath, if that fate was altered the out come would be simple….

you would die.

A young girl around the age of six ran through a field of wild Japanese flowers, she laughed and spun as she called out to a figure that followed.

”Your so slooowwww” She chanted at the old boy, she smiled and ran just as he caught up to her. “Come on this is our grand adventure mommy and daddy are speaking with grandpa!” She laughed once more before she fell into the deeps of the tall flowers. Blue eyes stared up at the azure sky.

A bright red headed boy caught up to the girl, with a pant he crashed down beside her. “….MOU!” He pouted cutely at the younger girl. “You are going to make my heart fail on me from all this running! do you want your onii-chan to drop down dead.” he wore a heavy pout as she stared down into blue eyes with his violet.

All the girl could do was giggle as she stared at him, she shifted to her side the petals of the flowers feel into her hair. “Of course not, just remember to breath.” She smiled softly at him, “You can’t run well if you don’t know how to control your breathing Onii-chan. Mamma and Pappa are not making you take kendo for nothing you know, and those martial art classes.” Her warm smile melted his pout away, and he returned it gladly. With a heavy breath, he fell down next to her. He could only smile as he felt the young girl press herself closer to himself. Carefully the boy warps a protective arm around her shoulders.

“I will always protect you Aya. that is my duty as your older brother.”

Aya sighed with content at his words and listened to his breathing, at first it was wild, now it calmed to a steady beat. “I know Ran-nii-chan.”

Carefully she lifted her small child fingers to his now aging man hood ones, hers was small and pale compared to his. Ran’s palms were rough from vigorous kendo training, and were forming to prove that he could hold a sword and hold it well. The small hand intertwined its fingers with the roughen ones.

“Ran-nii-chan, just remember…I will always be there to protect you as well.” she twisted her head and glazed into his violet eyes. “we will always be there for each other, no matter what…..promise?”

The two siblings stared at each other for a moment and each knew they would keep their promise. They grew up with a family that forced them to age fast, each knew their limits of what they may or may not do. However, most of all family comes first either it is to reclaim honor or revenge.

Their mother had married a man that was not approved of by her father and thus left the true name of her family. Shunned by them as a whole, he was Aya and Ran’s father. However even though the father of their mother strongly disliked Mr. Fujimiya, she was his only daughter and most beloved person in his life.

In this sense she had bore him two heirs, Ran being the elder and male will take up the right that his mother threw away. Even though the family on the Fujimiya side was calm gentle and avoid the sight of violence, on his mother side they seemed to thrive in it. Onime(1) as they were once called back in the time of warlords and chaos, they lived in the shadow of men, and from those shadow sought out and destroyed any in their path.

However this information was unknown to the two siblings, only that of their parents and elders knew of their density. To them the demons of their mothers history was nothing more then a game, a game they wanted to play. To them, this was a way to feed the Onime blood that ran through their veins, it urged for violence, death, and chaos.

To them, fighting was to breath. It came as second nature, as instinct given to them so that they may live while the other lay bloody at their feet. However, they were to young to know of this yet, far to young. They were only to train until the moment is right to tell them where their loyalties await them.

Aya sighed as she stared upward the sky was painted with many colors as the sun set. “I can’t wait until I get to start. mama said she would put me in classes next month! it would be so great just you watch Ran-nii-chan!” She thrust her fist upwards towards the sky, “One day…one day…we will be strong as grandpa! one day…..” she yawned softly and curled up to the warmth of the eight year old boy, “One day…you will be head of the family…..and then…” she lifted her finger to her mouth and sucked on it gently, “grandpa and papa won’t fight….any…more.” she faded out into the darkness of sleep, as the watchful eye of her brother protected her from the unknown.

Truth be told, he thought, Aya was the more strong willed one out of the both of them. Ran found himself dull with how his training proceeded. He much rather live the simple life as his father and mother were, but his grandfather would not allow such a thing. He was the oldest, he was to take grandfathers place and protect the family. It was his given birth right to protect them.

Yes he and his sister fought be their bound was unbreakable. Some even thought their connection was like that of a twin, each one half of what the other needs. She had the fire the passion, while he held the reversers to know when to stand up and stand back. His thoughts also traveled into darkness often, while she was the light to bring him out of it. He would take in the worlds evils, while she brings out the good and shows them to the world.

he smiled and sat up carefully, he picked up the girl who was two years younger then himself. Careful of her light blue locks and not as to wake her he headed back. He smiled out as the flowers you granted them cover.

Flowers, that was a secret passion of his only his sister knew. He would just be happy to work as a simple flower’s sales men then anything else. He suddenly yearned for the care free and simple life that was stolen at the second he took in the first breath of air.

He entered the old styled Japanese house, and removed his sandals. He shifted the girl in his arms to do so, but then padded down the hallway. He could hear the angry shouts of his father, and the calm words of his mother. They were in a fight again with grandfather, he knew it. Quickly he made his way to his, and his sister shared room. He placed her down gently on the futon that awaited the two, he removed her shoes. With a smile of satisfaction he tucked her in, and kissed her goodnight.

For himself? He striped quickly and changed into his formal night ware and entered the futon covers. As he laid his head on the hard pillow he stared up for a moment, the shouts were now vibrating into their room if only now a soft rumble.

He sighed softly. In the end he would be forced into this anyways, if only to protect his sister he would walk to hell and back to find the sword style.

For him fighting was not breathing…. it was protecting was his breathing.

Present Time line

A figure stood in the shadows; as if it enjoyed the cold damp kisses it gave upon the one who choose to ware it. However it found it self to yield when a shine of the moon reflected a most deadly weapon. The shadows seem to hiss as it’s the one who wore it so closely inched closer into the light of the moon.

The body was slim, and seems not a threat of any man of normal or above normal size. Slender yet frail arms held a weapon that promised death to any, slender legs held up the creature of mystery, and an angelic face only the gods could have divined.

Long hair draped down the back of this heavenly creature, mind you it wasn’t too long but long enough so when the light of the full moon hit it gave the figure an glow no normal human could muster.

The prey of this unearthly creature was now scattering away, a trail of blood flowed from his arm and to the cold ground. He began to mutter pleas, as if thinking that were to save him from his fate.

A curl smile twisted on the fallen angel’s face, “Did you listen to the pleas of those you have killed?” It asked its voice harsh, cold, unforgiving. “No. you only used them until they fit your means.” Again it rang with more force. “Tell me your part in the bombing of the Fujimiya’s building.” the angel hissed angrily as it lifted the weapon of choice to the neck of its victim.

“I saw the one who was there before it all went to hell and back. Now tell me your part!” once again it hissed at the man below the angel’s feet.

“I don’t know! Takatori-sama ordered it! and who he works for is unknown please I beg you! I know nothing more what do you want money?! I have money I can give you all that you wa-“ at that moment the man’s head rolled back from off his body.

The fallen angels eyes seem to lit from glee as the blood sprayed from the man’s jugular. It felt the crimson liquid spray upon the white cloth, shower the pale face and gloved hands.

It watched with distaste, the man was weak. It thought to itself. The angel of death craved more blood, more death to feed the demon of rage within its own heart.

It wanted revenge.

It recalled the fate full day of death, distortion, and lost. With a quick flick of the blade, it went back to its holder. The angelic creature wore white; its clothing was simple but drove fear and the unknown into its victims.

And that is why it was prefect.

It was nothing more then a simple white scarf, then a simple white button up shirt, lastly black leather pants. The creature of myth abandoned its long trench coat while in the chase. It took on the careful task of retracing its step, until it found the lost white coat. “aa there you are” It cooed gently and scooped it up.

As it faded into the darkness, the angel’s only trusted friend wisps of blue hair reflected itself as it was eaten alive by the darkness.
