A/N: I came up with this story after reading My Master on adultfanfiction.com..... the idea just popped in and I was like, “This idea kicks ass” So here it is! Oh yeah... no I don’t own FF7 or any other anime or games I use in this story, but I do own Jessica, her sis, and any of her friends! Got it? Good.
[side note: I\'m just trying this story out to see how people like it.... I might not write a second chapter or continue it.]

No one knew. Never in a million years would they have guessed...
Every five years they come for us, the ones that play the games, watch the anime... But not all of them, only the ones that met what they saw fit in a person. They are the beautiful, the thin and feline-like, the unmarred, the ones that despite their looks had no one to call their own.
No one knows how long it had been going on, but for as long as anyone in the government had known, they came every five years to take the beautiful and keep them for themselves. It wasn’t until the 70’s did the governments of the world stopped them from taking so many. They made a deal with them to only take to ones that weren’t in the public’s eye. Then when anime came over from Japan it was the ones that watched it.... then it was the ones that played the video games....
Five years have passed since the last ‘Hunt’.... and now it is time again.

What the hell was I thinking? Jessica thought as she walked down the cold dark, snow covered street towards her home. I mean.... what was I thinking getting a job that made me walk home at 2am!!? Jessica continued to mumble to herself, unaware that someone was following her. Carefully she walked up the snow covered steps, unlocking the door to her house. After saying goodnight to her half asleep mother, Jessica made her way up the stair to the bathroom to take off her work clothes.

A lone figure stood outside the house, the falling snow not bothering him in the slightest even if he wasn’t wearing any shoes or much clothing. He was wearing what would look like old Japanese armor and brown fur, the same type that covered his legs in a strange kind of leg warmers. Long black hair was kept back with a brown head band and pulled back into a high ponytail. White breath streamed from his nose, like he was sniffing the air. Another person walked up behind him, though wearing clothes more like the ones normal people would wear. He was wearing a blue suit with a white shirt, un-tuck, and wearing black shoes. His long red hair was also pulled back into a ponytail.
“So... is she finally home?” the red-head asked.
“Yes... finally. What human works this late at night?” the man in brown asked, slightly annoyed that they had to wait that long.
“This one. Lets get her and go before Maru-sama gets pissed.” The one in brown snorted in agreement before grabbing the other man and jumped up to the window of the girl’s room, three stories up from the ground. Why’d she have to live so high up....? the red-head thought as the one in brown stood, with his feet and clawed hands dug into the building keeping them from falling back to the ground, pried open the window. Finally on solid ground again, the red-head looked around the room. Half the room was clean with posters of boy-bands everywhere. The other half was covered with clothes and random papers everywhere, not to mention manga, video games and a ps2. “Koga....” he asked as he looked around the room again. “Where’s the girl?”
Koga slowly walked over to the other side of the room, sniffing the air for the scent of the girl. “She’s out here.... just do what you’re supposed to do and be quick, Reno.” Reno grunted and began logging all the anime/manga and video games in the room. The girl had an impressive collection considering that she was living in the mountains. Sailor Moon, Inu Yasha, FAKE, Negima, xxxHOLiC, Tsubasa, Pet Shop of Horrors, Battle Angel Alita, Chobits, Rayearth, Di Gi Charat, Card Captor Sakura, and Fushigi Yugi manga.... and one of the Inu Yasha mangas was in Japanese. The video games weren’t as impressive, Final Fantasy’s VII through X, Devil May Cry, things like that, but she did have the new Playstation 2, so that made up for it. Taking what looked like a PDA out of his pocket, he connected it to the lone computer in the room, the one surrounded by manga and plugged a thin wire into the UBS port. The little screen lit up and began scrolling through the files. After it finished he walked over to the PS2 and took the memory card and placed it in a slot at the top of the PDA, reading the saves.
As he set the card back on top of the system he noticed the sleeping form in the lower of the bunk beds next to him. “Hmmm... what’s this?” Reno stared hard at the form underneath the covers and noticed that it was a girl underneath.
Koga turned and glared at the human, “Most likely the girl’s sister.” Koga was about to tell him to leave the girl alone, but a door outside the room opened slowly and light switches turned off. Koga backed away from the door and waited for the right moment...

Jessica slowly walked out of the bathroom, yawning slightly. Looking down at her watch which read 3:00am, she grabbed her things and made her way to her room. Taking her free hand she gently pushed the door open to her room, so not to wake her sister. Only to drop everything she was holding [with the exception of her I-Pod... ^^;].
Shaking-ly she took a step back, finding to harder and harder to breathe. Standing before her was the wolf demon Koga for Inu Yasha. The only thing she could really hear was her own thoughts screaming ‘NOT REAL!’ in her head. She didn’t even her Koga as she backed into her brother’s room say, “Nowhere to run now.....”
Clutching her poor I-pod for dear life, Jessica tried to make sense what was going on, like why was there a cartoon character in her house? But her ramped thoughts were cut short when she heard her sister’s muffled shriek of terror. As Koga turned to face the direction of the noise, Jessica began searching for her brother’s metal bat.
“Damnit Reno! What the hell are you doing?!” he yelled. He barely saw Jessica come up behind him, but had no idea that she had a bat in her hand. With a loud crack that bat smashed into the side of his head, sending him over the railing and down the stairs.
Jessica ran into her room to find Reno from Final Fantasy VII fighting with her sister Roxxane, who was trying in vain to stop Reno from dragging her out of the room. “Let me go you freak!!!” she screamed.
Gripping the bat tightly, Jessica lifted it above her head as she yelled, “Roxxane duck~!” Like dead weight she dropped to the ground as her sister threw the bat. The bat collided with Reno’s head, sending him straight into the metal railing of the top bunk. Jessica dashed over and grabbed her sister before running out of the room. There were sudden gun shots coming from down stairs making Jessica and Roxxane stop at the top of the staircase. Their mom screamed, a string of cruses coming from their dad and then the sound of glass shattering as they watched Koga roll through the full length window at the bottom of the stairs.
“You’re going to pay for that....” Jessica turned around to find Reno standing in their doorway, holding the back of his head and blood coming from his nose. Jessica was going to say something, but Roxxane backed into her as Reno took a step forward and sending her and Jessica down the stairs, falling into a great big heap at the bottom.
There were stars in her eyes as Jessica tried to sit up, only to be picked up roughly. Only when she opened her eyes did she realize that it was her father that was holding her up. Suddenly she was being pushed into a pair of sandals. “What...?” she asked before a sudden gust of wind ripped through the house from the porch, ripping the doors off as if they were paper. Jessica’s mother screamed and jumped over the couch to the other side away from the gaping hole that was left of the wall.
Koga appeared in a blur of snow and wind, smiling like he knew something they didn’t. “What the hell is that thing?” her father asked as he readied his gun once again.
“Is that a tail I see?” Roxxane asked as she stared wide-eyed. She turned and looked at her sister and yelled, “What the hell did you do to piss these people Jessica!?”
“One: he’s a wolf demon, two: yes that’s a tail, and three: how the hell should I know?!” Jessica screamed back. She watched Reno jump down from what she thought to be her bedroom, wiping the blood from his nose off with the sleeve of his coat.
Their father raised the gun in his hand and muttered, “Take Roxxane and run like hell...” He looked down at Jessica with intense eyes. She looked back at him with the same intensity and nodded before grabbing Roxxane and flew out the door. As she slide down the snow covered railing she heard more gun shots and what sounded like her dad yelling something about hell spawn.
“Jessica! Wait! We should go back for mom and dad!!” Roxxane yelled.
Not stopping once as she ran up the street towards the near-by highway, practically dragging her sister behind her. “No way, I’m not going back to night of the living bishi’s over there! I’m going to the police!”
Half way up the street the wind picked up and Jessica found herself face first in the snow. As she tried to get up a hand grabbed a fist full of her hair and pulled her head up to see Koga looking down at her. “My.... you sure were hard to catch....”
Jessica glared at him with narrow eyes and let out what sounded like a feline-like growl before pulling her head back violently, a few of her hairs being pulling out as she freed herself from Koga’s grasp. She rolled to the side as Koga tried to grab her. Seeing that Reno had a hold on Roxxane again she looked around for something... anything that she could use as a weapon. She noticed a pole used to show snow plow drivers where the street was that had been knocked over, the concrete at the end barely visible underneath the snow. Jessica grabbed for it and swung the concrete end at Koga as he lunged at her again. “If think I’ll go nice and quiet, then you’re sadly mistaken, you mutt!”
Koga’s face contorted in anger at being compared to a dog. Jessica stood holding her ‘homemade’ mallet ready in her hands, waiting for him to attack again. But instead she was surrounded by a dozen wolves, all growling at her. Her eyes went wide for a moment, but quickly returned to her frown. She wasn’t about to let them know that she was afraid. Koga yelled something she didn’t understand, most likely in Japanese, and the wolves jumped at Jessica. She heard her sister scream her name, but there wasn’t much she could do about that since she was trying not to get eaten by wolves. As each one attacked her she tried to beat them off her. One grabbed a hold of her shirt and tried to pull her down while another grabbed at her pant leg. With a hard swipe she knocked the one on her leg away. The one holding on to her shirt fell away gripping a piece of her shirt in its jaws. One shoulder bared, Jessica continued to try and beat off the wolves until one bit into the soft flesh of her forearm and pulled her down into the snow. Jessica yelled out in pain, letting go of her ‘mallet’ to try to pry her bleeding arm out of the thing’s mouth.
“Enough.”
The wolf dropped her arm and slowly backed away from her whimpering, followed by all the other ones. Being face first in the snow wasn’t Jessica’s main concern, it was bleeding to death. But the pride in her wouldn’t let her die without a fight, so she slowly pushed herself up with her good arm. She looked over to see her sister shaking with wide eyes as Reno held her in place with his Electro-rod out.
“Shit...” he muttered.
Jessica looked in the direction they were and saw a very pissed off looking Sesshoumaru glaring at what she thought must have been Koga, since Koga was the one that had the wolves attack her.
“What the hell are you doing wolf?”
“She was resisting capture and I was told to use any means necessary to take her back!” Koga yelled back.
“You were told to bring her back unharmed.”
Jessica slowly pushed herself up and on her feet and grabbed her ‘mallet’ with her good hand while her left arm hung limp against her side. “I am not going anywhere...”
“Oi.... she just doesn’t know when to quite, does she?” Jessica ignored Reno’s comment, trying her hardest not to pass out, the lack of sleep, the cold and the pain from her arm was making it very hard to keep her eyes even open.
Sesshoumaru looked at her with cold, uncaring eyes as she glared at him. In a blink of an eye he was in front of her, giving her no time to attack. Jessica took a step backwards as Sesshoumaru pulled back his claws, causing her to think that she was about to be melted by his poison. But instead he placed his talons gently on her forehead. Jessica made a noise, something along the lines of a gasp, and opened her eyes wide, only to shut them again and collapse forward into Sesshoumaru’s awaiting arm.
“Wha...? Why the hell did she give up now! She was supposed to be my catch!” Koga yelled.
Throwing Jessica easily over his shoulder, Sesshoumaru turned away and stated, “She didn’t give up, I knocked her out. But a moment more and she would have been asleep anyway.”
Roxxane watched the wolf demon chase after the guy with the huge fluffy thing on his shoulder wondering what had just happened. “Wait, she’s not dead?”
Reno looked down at his catch and smiled, “Nope. Now lets get going before they leave us behind.” With a tug, Roxxane followed, not wanting the same fate as her sister had suffered. In a gust of snow-filled wind all of them were gone, along with their tracks.

And so the hunt ended, as it has for many years before. Though what will happen to those that they caught, you ask? Well.... I guess you’ll just have to wait and see....
