Homecoming

        Four
years ago he told his father he'll decide his own future and therefore, refusing
to return to one single place where his future life has been decided. Four years
ago he also told his brother he could control his desires to kill. He failed.
And thus, he returns home.

Okay
so maybe he failed in living up the vow of stopping the killings but he hasn't
changed his mind about the deciding his own future part. This far. God knows
what will happen if his brother brainwashes him, again.

Anyways,
back to his problem. Yes. He returns home. He, the almighty young master Killua,
the future leader of Zaoldyeck clan, returns home. All for nothing but some
stupid tradition he, the heir, must do. And he said he will decide his own
future. But as a sensible boy that he claims he is, he'd rather swallow his
pride than loose his precious life.

Gon
had whined all day long, saying that his family will not let him return to his
friends this time. KUrapika, the ever-sensible guy, said the same thing.
Leorio... well, Leorio was Leorio, he just stared dumbly as per usual. And as
much as he actually agrees to their opinions -knowing his family, it is the most
possible scenario happen-, he'd rather chance it than risking their lives, and
his.

So
here he is, staring at the damned ceilings of his room regretting his choice for
the billionth time.

He
has the every right to be angry, dammit. Okay, so Alluka did tell him about some
meeting with the elders, namely his father, grandfather and great-grandfather,
Sillva, Zeno and Mahha, respectively. But he didn't
say anything about aniki!

Oh,
his father and grandfather are stronger than Illumi, all right. And he's willing
to bet his life that they will not let anyone, -including his own beloved
brother- to do him harm.

But
only physical harm.
His mind whines. Brainwashing is not one
of those.

As
if to answer his whining, the door of his room opens and reveals his worst
nightmare. Illumi. Killua gulped in a -hopefully- not too audible way and manage
to squeak his name. "Aniki."

And
there, billowed by the light from the torches in the corridor, Illumi stands.
Impassive, cold, and emotionless as ever. But somehow still has the grace that
seems to run in their family. He's staring at the laying figure of Killua on the
bed, then Killua sees a flash of... something on his eyes and it give him
chills. But it's only normal. Just when did he meet his eldest brother without
having one of those chills down his spine? Or at least he hopes it's what he
appears to be.

"Time
for training. Let's go. Father doesn't like to be kept waiting."
