Prolog
Tendo Home. Late afternoon on Sunday June 19, 1998 (I have no idea the time frame for the series, just making a guess here.)
“I can’t believe you invited those sluts to the beach with us! And then you just go and act like that! Ranma you PERVERT!”
“It wasn’t my fault! I didn’t invite them, and I was trying to get rid of them!”
“Yeah right. Admit it, you enjoyed it!”
“Would you just listen to me for once you un-cute tomboy!”
“What did you call me?!”
“Oh sure, NOW you listen. You never hear a word I say unless I’m calling you names!”
“RANMA NO BAKA!” WHAM!
As the body of the cursed martial artist arced away in the distance, Akane Tendo would make a wish she would come to regret, though she would never admit it out loud. “I wish you would go away, and never come near me or my family again!”
In the shadows, Anyanka, the patron Demon of scorned women, smiled and whispered, “Granted.”
“Anyanka, you can’t hurt the boy.”
The blond demoness turned to regard her dark haired friend and asked, “Why not? She’s as scorned as you can get.”
“Did you even bother to read her file? Or his for that matter? None of this is his fault. His father sold him off numerous times, and left him to deal with the ensuing mess. After doing everything in his power to make sure he has no social or people skills.” Halfric snapped. “And that girl has done more to scorn him than he has ever done to her. If anything, I should be punishing Them on his behalf.”
“To late now, Hally, the wish was made and granted.”
“Okay, but how about we tweak it a bit? So she gets what she asked for, but he gets what he really deserves?”
“How so?”
“How about we send him there?”
Anyanka looked at the indicated dimension and slowly nodded. “It could work. Do it.”
And so begins our tail.
