Crimson Wings
Prologue


Four years ago the Legendary Phantom Thief Dark rose again... and not even a year later, he disappeared again... but not before stealing many precious works of art from various areas around the city...

In truth... though he did steal... it was not for his own personal gain... but for the protection of the city... as these beautiful works of art were possessed... Possessed by the feelings of their creators and those that owned them after. Dark intentions laced themselves into the artworks turning them into works of evil.

Dark, the black winged angel, was the only one who possessed the ability to seal these objects, and he did so... along with the help of his partner and constant companion... as well as his host... Daisuke Niwa...

You see, Dark had no physical form of his own... he was but a spirit who\'s very essence swam through the blood of the Niwa family... At the age of 14, every male in the family would become the legendary thief... Dark would awaken inside of them.

Before long Dark and Daisuke, his newest host, met the last remaining descendant of the Hikari\'s... The Hikari family was known for their beautiful works of art... but Dark and the Niwa family knew that though that family didn\'t mean to, their artworks had begun to form lives of their own... becoming dangerous...

This specific Hikari possessed a being, a spirit similar to Dark... but this spirit was evil... the Vicious and Ruthless White Winged Angel... Krad...

It wasn\'t long before Daisuke learned of the bond between the white winged golden haired angel and the black winged violet haired angel... they were two halves of one whole... Two separate pieces of an artwork known as The Black Wings... a violent and dangerous piece of art...

With the help of Daisuke and the Niwa family, however, Dark was able to destroy THE BLACK WINGS for good... but in order to do so... he was forced to seal himself and Krad...

Now that Dark is gone there is only Daisuke and the Niwa family left to seal away the pieces of art that continue to become tainted by darkness... They knew that a new legend needed to be born... a new Phantom Thief needed to take flight...

And hence Crimson Wings was born... Daisuke... with the help of Dark’s Familiar With and the wings he\'d gained in saving his love, Riku, during the final battle... is this thief... the only remaining barrier between the tainted artworks and the people of the city... It was his destiny to protect them... it was his duty...

But now that the city knows there\'s a new thief in town, the work of Crimson Wing\'s will be much harder... Is Daisuke Niwa up to the task?
