Utena had just walked out of the doctor's office. A smile was still

present on her features. The news that she had just received, while

unexpected this early was wonderful all the same. "I didn't expect to be

telling Touga this kind of news so soon. (She smiled wider) Wouldn't this

be a prefect Christmas surprise? It's only a week away. I have to figure

out how I'm going to tell him." She thought.

She wanted to tell him of the gift they made on their honeymoon in a

different way than normal and she wanted it to be special. She then hit

upon an idea. Utena walked into Tiffany's. "Can I help you?" The

salesperson asked.

"Yes, I would like a sliver rattle." Utena answered. The salesperson

brought it out and wrapped it up for her. Utena paid for her purchase and

then went home.

Once she was home, Utena hid the gift in the place where she had all of

Touga's gifts from her. After she had made sure that it was concealed from

any snooping, she had waited for Touga to come home.

"Darling, I'm home." Touga said to Utena when he came through the door and

greeted her with a kiss. "I got the tree today. A couple of servants are

bringing it in. I thought that after dinner, we could decorate our first

Christmas tree together." Touga said to her afterwards.

After dinner they began to decorate the tree. Touga put up the crystal

star and lights. Utena put on the garlands. Once they were up, Touga got

out the ornaments. Their collection was varied, from treasured heirloom

ones from their families, gifts from their friends and some they bought

themselves. Together they placed the ornaments on all sides of the tree,

until it was an accumulation of love, laughter and good memories.

Touga turned on the lights and then stood next to Utena. "Our first tree

is so beautiful." Utena said as she admired the tree with Touga.

He looked into her eyes and replied "It seems that everything we make

turns out to be beautiful. Now my love lets get the rest of the living

room ready for our first Christmas. "

Within an hour they had the living room decorated. Touga went behind Utena

and kissed her on the lips. "You were under the mistletoe." He said to her

afterwards with a sly smile.

Utena looked up and saw Touga holding some mistletoe above her. "Hmm. I

wonder how that got there." She replied. Utena took the mistletoe from

Touga's fingers and dropped it on the floor.

With a seductive grin she said "We don't need mistletoe to spread

Christmas cheer among ourselves." Touga then picked Utena up and carried

her to their bedroom.

He placed her on the bed and they shared a passionate kiss. When they

broke for air, they couldn't get out of their clothes fast enough. They

slid under the sheets.

Touga kissed Utena's hands and each of her fingers. He then looked into

her crystal blue eyes and said to her softly "I love you Utena."

"I love you too Touga." She replied in a soft voice with her own emotions.

Utena asked mischievously "Are you going to stare at me all night or make

love to me?"

"Aw, can't I do both?" Touga joked before lowering his mouth for another

fervent kiss between the two.

Touga's tongue traveled from Utena's mouth to her breast. She let out a

soft moan when his tongue lightly touched her nipple. He sucked them

ardently, with kind of a mad zeal. After giving his full attention to her

breasts, Touga planted small kisses leading down from her stomach to the

top of her womanhood.

Utena let out a loud moan when a couple of Touga's fingers entered her

opening. He stroked her softly till she climaxed onto his waiting fingers.

He took his fingers out of her and licked them clean. With a naughty smile

gracing his features, Touga brought himself up for another kiss. Utena

wrapped her legs around his hips as he entered her. They rode each other

out until they found themselves climaxing together. Utena and Touga fell

asleep in each other's arms.

The next morning Utena woke up, feeling nauseous and ran to the bathroom.

Touga woke up to discover his wife getting sick. She came back to the

bedroom. With a concerned look on his face, he reached out and touched her

face. He cupped her cheek gently and asked "Are you feeling ok?"

She waved his hand off. "I'm ok. Just have an upset stomach. There's

nothing for you to worry about." She replied. Utena hated to lie to her

husband but she didn't count on her morning sickness to start so soon.

Touga insisted that Utena stay home and rest. He called her aunt, whom she

was working for and told her that Utena wasn't coming in today. Before he

left for his job, he kissed Utena goodbye and told her that he would come

home early to check on her.

Christmas Eve

Utena and Touga were placing the gifts under the tree for tomorrow. They

had insisted that everyone come to their home to celebrate Christmas.

Their family and friends would arrive tomorrow.

After she placed the last gift under the tree's long branches, Utena took

a small gift out and guided Touga to the sofa. When they were seated,

Utena said "I was going to give you this tomorrow but since you've been

good, I think you're entitled to open it now."

Touga took the gift from Utena and with a curious look on his face, opened

it. He was confused when he saw what was inside. "A baby rattle? Utena is

this your way of telling me to grow up?" Touga asked when he first saw the

silver rattle.

Utena giggled at Touga's response. She replied "No silly; it's not for

you. It's for your baby."

"My baby? I don't have a baby. Unless your preg..." He cut off, a shocked

look replacing his earlier confusion.

Utena smiled sweetly. "Pregnant. Yes Touga, you and I are going to have a

baby." She stated.

Touga was overjoyed. "So my love, when's our daughter due?" He asked when

he could formulate thoughts above his happiness.

"The baby is due in July. How do you know it's going to be a girl?" She

retorted.

With his trademark smile he told her "I'm highly confident that we are

going to have a girl. Call it paternal instinct. Now who are we going to

tell first?"

Utena looked him in the eye and knowing what he was up to replied

"Everyone is going to find out at the same time tomorrow at dinner. Don't

even think about making any calls before hand or else you're going to find

yourself sleeping on the sofa tonight!" She threatened.

Knowing that Utena meant what she said he wisely stayed silent. He pulled

her towards him for a congratulatory kiss. After they broke from that kiss

for air, Touga carried Utena to their bedroom for a Christmas celebration

of their own.

Few years later

Touga was putting the ornaments on the tree. Their eldest daughter Suki

was helping him while Utena was busy putting their 2-month-old daughter Hoshi,

to bed.

Suki was handing her father the ornaments. When she was getting another

ornament, she noticed a sliver rattle lying among the tissue paper.

Curious to know why it was there she asked "Daddy, why is there a baby

rattle in with the ornaments?"

Touga smiled at his daughter and replied "That was a Christmas gift from

your mother. It was her way of telling me that you were coming." He then

took the rattle from her and put it on the tree. When it was safely

nestled on the evergreen branches, he told her an edited version of the

story behind the rattle.

Sorry for this story being really short. This fic is actually a wedding

gift to my friend Guardian Moon. No he's not marrying me. He loves

Christmas fics and I had promised that I'd write him one.

This was also my first Christmas fic. I wanted to do an Utena/Touga one

because no one had the balls to write one.

I have to thank Tenjou Utena who helped me come up with idea and make this

fic just right. I also have to thank Suppis Tenshi for encouraging

finishing this and being my beta. She and Tenjou Utena write really good
