Trapped in the room of the Ark that the Earl intended to make their tomb, Allen and the other exorcists watched as the swindler he’d recognized from the train transformed before them. Allen’s eyes narrowed as he watched pale skin darken and a row of black crosses rise to emblazon themselves onto the man’s forehead. The Noah’s eyes opened, exposing golden irises as they fixed themselves onto Allen, the same wicked smile that the teen could hardly forget spreading across his features.
“You!” Walker exclaimed in angry disbelief. His left arm twitched as if it remembered what the Noah had done to it.
“You’re looking for an exit from this place aren’t you?” he asked, tossing a golden key up into the air and catching it. “I just so happen to know of one.”
The group of exorcists gasped as an ornate structure rose noisily from the ground behind the Noah. Allen recognized it as the door that Rhode had disappeared through after their confrontation in the rewinding town.
“I’ll let you borrow the key to it,” Tiki told them, toying with the small object in one hand, “But it does come with a price.”
Kanda’s hand moved to rest on the hilt of his katana as he moved into a ready stance. “And what price would that be?”
Tiki smirked. “Just a friendly little game, with the key going to the winner.” He gazed in Allen’s direction. “But only one of you is invited, I’m afraid.”
Allen stepped forward. “Are you looking for a rematch?” he asked, “Because you’ll find that the outcome will be much different than before.” Tiki’s resultant smirk only served to anger him.
He rushed toward Tiki despite a call for caution from Rabi. The man dodged the exorcist’s attempts with little effort. To Allen’s surprise and annoyance, Tiki continued to make no moves to attack him, on his own accord or with his hungry golem.
“This isn’t exactly what I had in mind,” Tiki told the exorcist after a few moments as if put upon, flipping backwards over Allen’s extending arm to land in front of Rhode’s door.
“I didn’t think that you’d try to run away from me,” Allen told him, approaching quickly to launch another slashing attack.
“I’m not looking to run,” Tiki told him, making no moves to dodge the coming blow. “I just think that a little privacy would be nice.”
The Noah shifted to the side at the last moment, Allen’s strike missing him by inches. Tiki grasped the surprised exorcist’s arm as the doors behind them opened with a rush of air. Pulling the teen flush against his form, Tiki spun, the two of them passing into the darkness beyond.
“Allen!” Rabi shouted, but after only taking a few steps, the double doors closed and the structure vanished from view.
After a few moments of darkness, there was a bright light, and then exorcist and foe emerged on the other side. They were now in what appeared to be a clearing within a stretch of woodland under a sunny sky. Low rocky structures dotted the area along with what appeared to be fallen trees. Allen was able to push away from the Noah, spinning to glare dangerously at him.
“Where did you take me? What happened to my friends?” Allen demanded to know angrily.
“Relax,” Tiki told him reassuringly, putting up his hands in a placating gesture. “You’re still on the Ark, in one of the other rooms. Your friends are in the same place that you just left from. If you tried, you might be able to wander back to them, but that would take some time, time that they don’t have.”
Allen rushed at him angrily, slashing at him with his Innocence-laden arm. Tiki just laughed as he leapt backwards out of harm’s way. “Do you really have time to play around like this? You’re not going to make your way back to save your friends unless I allow it. The key to their survival rests right here,” the Noah said, indicating the key in his right hand, “and you’ll have to play along if you intend to get it.”
After he’d spoken, the golden object began to sink into the skin of his palm, disappearing from sight as Allen gasped. His gaze hardened as he noted the amusement on Tiki’s face.
“So just what do I have to do to win the key to Rhode’s door?” the exorcist asked.
Tiki canted his head to one side, a hand on his hip. “You have to convince me to give it to you.” He began to saunter toward the teen.
Walker gazed at him questioningly as he approached. “Convince you?”
Tiki stopped when he stood at arm’s length from the young exorcist. “Yes,” he answered, raising a hand to stroke down the side of Allen’s face, whose eyes widened in surprise at the gesture. “Someone with looks like yours should know quite a bit about persuasion…”
Walker batted Tiki’s hand away as he realized what the man was implying, taking several steps backward. He noted the Noah’s disappointed look. “No,” he stated firmly. “I’d never even consider that.” He turned from the man, casting his glance to and fro. “There has to be another way out of here.”
The retreating Allen came to a halt as Tiki’s words reached him. “It’s hard for me to believe that you care so little about what happens to your friends,” the man began, slowly approaching Allen from behind. “I have friends, too. I’d do all sorts of things to keep them.” Allen stiffened as he heard that sultry voice close to his ear. “Haven’t you risked your life for them before? And haven’t they risked their own to save yours? What I’m suggesting is such a small thing compared to that.”
Walker spun, pushing at him with one arm. “W-Why would you even suggest that kind of trade?”
Tiki grinned broadly as golden eyes danced. “To satisfy some curiosities of mine.” His eyes narrowed. “Plus, there’s nothing wrong with finding new games to play from time to time.”
The frown on Allen’s face deepened. “There’s no way that I could do something like that…”
Tiki sighed, a hand combing absently through curly dark locks. “That’s too bad. I like playing with you, boy.” The man turned to walk away, casting his gaze over his shoulder at the pale-haired teen. “Some of your friends don’t look much older than you are. It’s a shame that they have to die so young.”
Allen watched the man take a few steps before hurriedly calling out to him, causing Tiki to stop in his tracks. “How do I even know that you’ll keep your word?” he asked. “It’s not like I can trust you.”
Smiling faintly, Tiki took a seat on a rocky structure nearby, pulling a cigarette free from a pack to light it. “I may be many things,” he told Allen after taking a drag from it, “but a liar isn’t one of them.”
“But, the Earl… he won’t be happy about you interfering with his plan.”
“You shouldn’t worry yourself with that. He can never stay angry with me for long.” He grinned broadly. “I’m one of the Chosen!” He eyed the exorcist for a few moments, noting the teen’s features shift from anger, to worry, and finally what appeared to be reluctant acceptance of the situation. Inhaling heated air, Tiki expelled a stream of smoke through full lips, pleased with the turn of events. “Come here, boy.”
Frowning, Allen approached the seated Noah, his hands fisted. When he stood before him, Allen glared at him with angry eyes. “I have a name, you know.”
A sudden smile split the man’s face as the cigarette dangled from his lips. “Of course, you do. Allen. A lovely name at that.”
Tiki grasped the teen’s left arm to pull him down to sit beside him. He turned a questioning gaze toward the boy as Allen’s eyes widened and he twisted his arm out of his grasp. As Tiki remembered what had probably triggered this reaction, he gave a hearty laugh, darkening Allen’s spirits further. “Don’t worry. I’m not going to take your arm off again, at least not yet. Besides, whatever happened to you afterwards made you stronger.” He took a last drag from his cigarette before flicking it away. “You should be thanking me.”
Rather than dignify this notion with a response, Allen grumbled, staring down at the hands fisted in his lap. “Let’s just get this over with.”
The man reached a hand out to caress his cheek, tracing the cursed scar with a finger. “A frown doesn’t suit such a pretty face.”
Allen glared at him briefly, grasping his wrist with his left arm. Tiki could feel the power of Innocence thrumming within it as it tightened.
“Now, now,” he chastened in a sweet voice, “play nicely, or not at all.” After a moment, Allen sighed, removing his hand to allow the touch. The only way that Allen could rescue his friends was by this action. He could repay this another time in his own way, but for now, the Noah held all the cards.
The caressing hand slid down his neck to his chest as Tiki turned the teen to face him. It was joined by the other, unfastening Allen’s jacket and the shirt beneath. At first, Allen turned his face away as he felt Tiki’s touch on his bared skin. He hazarded a glance at the Noah’s face, glimpsing golden eyes trained hungrily down at the flesh his hands roved over. Feeling the boy’s eyes on him, Tiki raised his gaze to meet the teen’s, transfixing him momentarily before leaning in to claim his lips. Allen gasped, surprised to find that this form of intimacy would figure into their agreement. Tiki took advantage, deepening the kiss to slide a tongue over the teen’s own. After a few moments he pulled away, smirking at the exorcist’s flushed cheeks and deep breathing.
“See?” the Noah remarked. “It’s not such a bad game, now is it?”
Allen refused to answer, frowning and not meeting Tiki’s eyes. The man’s spirits weren’t dampened at all. Chuckling softly, he sank to his knees before the exorcist, causing Allen to eye him nervously.
“What are you going to do?” he asked despite having a good idea of his intentions, wanting to squirm away as Tiki’s hands moved to unfasten his pants.
Golden eyes glinted in the light above. “Something very nice,” Tiki answered before turning his attention back to the contents of the exorcist’s trousers.
Allen had heard of this act, whispered about in back streets, hinted at by strange men in alleyways when he’d been merely a traveling orphan years before. The idea of it had always been so perverse, and he’d never understood why anyone would want to receive, much less give, such a thing. But now that he sat squirming under Tiki’s ministrations, the man’s mouth around him hot and wet, Allen had a better understanding of the desire for it. His chest heaving, Allen gritted his teeth against the sound that threatened to come forth. His hands fisted in Tiki’s crisp white shirt, unsure whether to push the man away or pull him forward. The Noah chuckled around him, amused by his body’s response. The subsequent vibrations had Allen failing to stifle a groan, shivers running up his spine. He hadn’t wanted to enjoy this in the least, but the Noah seemed insistent on causing him to. Looking down at his gently bobbing head, Allen wanted to ask him why, but couldn’t make the words form on his lips.
The exorcist soon felt cool stone against his backside as Tiki managed to slide his trousers down from his hips without disconnecting from him, the item pulled from around his ankles and tossed out of Allen’s field of vision. Grimacing as much from pleasure as disgust with himself, his back arched, the pain from the impact of Allen’s head against the stone behind him relatively minor in the face of other sensations. However, the sensation of an intruding digit, slick with some substance or other, caused Allen’s body to stiffen.
“Just relax,” Tiki told him as he looked up into his face, his expression eager yet strangely patient. His other hand was occupied with stroking the teen’s erection.
“How can I when you’re doing something like that?” Allen snapped, more annoyed when the man began to snicker.
“It’s not like we can play properly if I don’t get you ready,” the Noah replied, drawing Allen’s erection toward waiting lips.
Allen gasped at the sensation of being enveloped in moist warmth once more, the suction applied so intimately making him forget about the probing digit for the time being. It slipped in deeply only to be drawn out again rhythmically. The combined sensations made the pale-haired teen pant, biting his lower lip against a groan that was vocalized as a hum. Tiki caught Allen’s embarrassed gaze with a heated one of his own, the boy’s face blushing more deeply. Yet he found himself unable to look away from those piercing eyes, as though he was trapped by the promise held within them.
More fingers moved to join the first, their presence uncomfortable at first. As Allen was stretched by their motion, discomfort morphed into a strange sensation that was disturbingly pleasant. Before long, Allen’s knees began to draw up of their own accord, his muscles pulling taut. He spilled into Tiki’s waiting mouth, shocked as he slid down to engulf him completely, swallowing around him. Spent, Allen’s body collapsed against the stone behind him, noting an emptiness as the Noah’s fingers withdrew. Strangely tired, he watched Tiki pull away to stand, a pink tongue darting out to clean his lips as he swallowed, the sight of this making Allen feel oddly excited despite himself.
His eyes closing, Allen heard the sound of Tiki reclaiming the spot next to him, absently noting the sound of rustling clothing and an odd moist sound. The exorcist’s eyes opened as he found himself briskly pulled toward Tiki, who lifted his body to straddle his, face to face, placing the teen’s hands on his shoulders as Allen’s body shifted. Warm hands slid up the exorcist’s bare thighs as they moved to cup his backside to pull him closer. Allen could feel a nervous fluttering in the pit of his stomach, suspecting what was about to occur. But there was no real way that he could back out of this now.
The seemingly patient smile on Tiki’s face surprised Allen somewhat as he looked down at the man.
“There’s really nothing to it,” Tiki explained as one hand pulled the exorcist closer and the other positioned his slick length against him. He pushed upward slightly, Allen sucking in a deep breath as he was breeched. “Just relax and let gravity do what it needs to.”
The Noah drew the teen’s thighs apart farther, causing him to slide downward. His head tilting back on his shoulders, Allen let out a throaty moan as he was impaled on Tiki’s length, aided by the Noah’s pressing hands. Fully inside of his prize, Tiki gazed up into the teen’s blushing face, his wide eyes watching the artificial sky. He smiled at how the boy shivered slightly as he sat atop him, and marveled at the snug fit.
Griping him firmly, Tiki raised and lowered Allen on his erection, the young exorcist’s eyes squeezing shut at the motion as he grimaced. His flushed face and stifled vocalizations told Tiki that this behavior was less from pain and more from something else. He grinned, thrusting up into his prize as the exorcist’s body sank back onto him, Allen’s eyes snapping open as he gasped loudly. He fisted the cloth covering Tiki’s shoulders as he was made to ride him. Allen’s eyes were drawn down to the Noah’s face. He absently noted the beads of perspiration that trickled down forehead and cheek, the man managing to smile up at him as he panted. Leaning forward, Tiki lapped at the beads of sweat on Allen’s face that had turned into rivulets drawn down by gravity, salty on his tongue.
It wasn’t long before the muscles of Allen’s body were tightening, the teen keening through gritted teeth. Shuddering, he splashed warmly against Tiki’s bared chest. The Noah groaned loudly as the passage around him constricted suddenly, managing to thrust only a few more times before he spilled deep within the teen’s body. Sated, he let out a grunt as Allen’s body collapsed against him, spent once more. Tiki grinned to himself, the experience much better than he’d imagined.
“Dammit!” Rabi exclaimed as the group once again found themselves in the clearing. “Somehow, we’re walking in circles. Whatever direction we set off into, we end up back here.”
Lenalee looked dejected. “We don’t have that much time left before this place disappears. And there’s no sign of Allen.”
As if appearing due to his name being invoked, Rhode’s door rose from the ground, the pale-haired teen exiting through its checkered double doors to the relief of his friends.
“Allen! You’re okay!” Rabi exclaimed as he moved forward to throw arms around him in a loose embrace. He frowned as he noted the faint sheen of perspiration on his friend’s face and breathing that hadn’t yet returned to normal. So the pair had fought after all.
“I’m fine,” he replied before casting his eyes over his shoulder at Rhode’s door. “The way out to the other part of the Ark is through here.”
“I can’t believe that he actually kept his word,” Lenalee commented. “And what did you have to do to get the key?”
Allen cast a brief glance in her direction before turning away, “Oh, just handle a little unfinished business between us.”
As the group headed toward the door and whatever battle awaited them, Allen’s mind was drawn back to the memory of the disheveled Noah, holding out the key as if it were a holy grail, the knowing smirk on the man’s face shaming him. The way he’d grasped Allen’s reaching hand, pulling him forward to kiss the wrist. Golden eyes blazing as Tiki assured him that this was the first of many times, and that the next would require no pretense. Allen had snatched the key, turning from the satisfied man, denying his words before he’d stepped through the door. Looking down at his wrist in the fading light as he walked into the space beyond, he could still feel the lingering burn of Tiki’s lips, casting doubt upon his convictions.
