Prologue
A young man with dark black hair came running down a flight of stairs. His tiger blue eyes sparkled with amusement as he quickly ran for the door, but a large white tiger pounced on his back. The man yelped and laughs trying to pull the tiger off of him.
This was a normal occurrence in the Ronin house. Which did not fair well for the house. They had moved after it he become apparent that they couldn’t stay at Mia’s. For a short amount of time they tried to move back home after all they were only 15 at the time. But after all the wars and with the chance of new Dynasty threats coming in. It didn’t last. It took a while to convince some of the parents but with written permission and some co signing on the parents parts they were able to move out. Someone’s from Sage’s family came by every now and then to check in on Sage and they usually looked in on Rowen as well.
The house was large but rather far away and from everything. When you opened the front door it was just an entry way than stairs lead up to the living room. Which was remarkably clean for housing five teenage boys. It had a three cushion couch that sat in front of a large fire place. There were two matching chairs as well. It had a rather homey look to it. The kitchen was connected to the living room and was one of the smaller rooms Cye wasn’t happy about that but dealt with it. There were stairs leading up to the bed rooms and two stairs that lead to the family room. While the other room had been seen with nice light and nice furniture this room had dim light with older furniture, this was the room with the larger TV and all the game consuls.
Another man with sandy brown followed the tiger in, a disapproving look on his face. “Ryo take it outside.. last time you broke one of Sage’s vases.” He walked backwards to avoid getting trampled by the hyper tiger, “and dinner’s in five minutes..”
“Sure thing Cye..” Ryo said while laughing, he pushed the tigers head away from him. Than laughed again as the tiger licked his hair. “Gross Blaze..”
At dinner five men sat around the table. They looked like a very odd bunch indeed at the head of the table was Ryo, to his right was a man with bright blue hair named Rowen, next to Rowen sat a man with beautiful, bright blond hair that covered his left eye named Sage. On Ryo’s left side there was a large man, not fat just bulky he had ash blue hair and was in the process of stuffing his face named Kento. Next to Kento sat Cye.
“So how’s the new business going, Ro?” Cye asked taking a small spoon of mashed potato's.
“Tiring.. my boss is SO pushy.. he is always having me do all the BORING tedious stories..” Rowen said with a yawn. Rowen was the type of employee that put everything he had into his job. The last few nights he had stayed up trying to liven up some of the boring story’s his boss had given him. He wasn’t having much luck. He wasn’t sure he really wanted to be a journalist any way. He had gone into it more to try and understand his mother more. She was still a mystery to him.
“Well of course you get the boring ones, your the new one. It’s only common sense that’s what you get” Sage pointed out with a causal nod, he was having a green salad over the meat and potato’s.
“Plus you’re the boring one” Kento laughed at his own joke.
Rowen ignored Kento comment but managed a glare at Sage. “Doesn’t matter I may switch back to being a doctor, it seems easier. Plus once you‘re all done with the training you get good jobs that use your skills right away.”
Cye laughs at that. Kento looked bewildered. “What about you Ryo, how’s coaching?”
Ryo smiles, “kids are great! I thought when we graduated I’d have to give up soccer but now I get to play it and teach it! I love it!”
Sage rolled his eyes. “I still think you would have been better to work at the my families Kendo house.. it pays more”
“Yeah but it’s not as much fun! It’s to structured.. and kids get so angry and frustrated with Kendo..”
“I think you’re all crazy for not taking that amazing job with boxing like I did! I mean it’s a great work out and you don’t have to deal with LITTLE kids.. They’re older like ten and twelve. Like my little brothers.. NOT my sisters... girls are so much harder than boys!”
Ryo laughs “I dono my girl soccer team could SMOKE my boys team.. What about you Cye how's the fish?”
“Fishes and dolphins and whales.. I love it.. we even have a small shark.. and he’s so gentle and so Cute! I feel so bad cause so many people are afraid of him and he just wants attention!” Cye let out a small sigh. He had started working at a small aquarium he didn’t really have good references but when he got a chance to show how he interacted with the sea life he got the job almost immediately.
Rowen smiles. “People need to be more educated with sharks. They’re actually not that dangerous most the time when they attack humans it’s because they think the person looks like a seal. Honestly more people get hurt by dogs and cats than sharks.”
“Tigers aren't that bad either” Ryo said while tossing White Blaze a scrap of meat.
“No, Tigers are dangerous...” Rowen says, “Your tiger is just abnormal!” White Blaze growls “And he understands WAY to much! It’s not locally possible how much he understands!”
“Neither are our armers.” Sage pointed out.
“That’s true..”
