Summer Change

Sakura was in the living room just gazing out the window thinking about how her summer had a horrible start so far. Syoran had gone back to China to marry Meilin while Tomoyo was in England with Eriol for vacation. Touya was in France on his honeymoon with Yukito and her father was on an expidition for the university. This left Sakura with only Kero-chan at home while Yue had yet to show himself since the start of vacation. Sakura, a girl of 18 and the keeper of the old clow cards, was officially bored and alone.

As Sakura got up to get ready for bed and pull Kero away from the kitchen (and his snack), there was a knock at the door. It was already pretty late and she wasn't expecting anyone. Sakura cautiously peeked out the door window and say Yue standing in front of the door. Wondering what he wanted, Sakura opened the door and invited Yue in. Kero, sensing his presence, floated into the living room to listen to the conversation.

"Is something the matter Yue?" asked Sakura.

"Mistress, I must know if you are with Reed's descendant anymore," stated Yue. Kero's eyes widened as he started to understand what Yue was planning on doing and answered his question, "No Yue, that baka has left so we must step in now. Shall I transform?"

At Yue's nod, wings encompassed kero's body as Sakura watched confusingly. Her confusion further escalated as a Kero with a humanoid body emerged in place of his beast form. He was as tall as Yue but with golden hair and amber eyes.

"What is going on!!!! And why is Kero-chan in a human form?" shouted Sakura.

Yue and Kero turned as one to face Sakura and motioned for her to sit.

"Sakura-chan, when Master Reed made us, he gave me the ability to have a human form for the possibilty that you may not have a worthy partner to one day marry you. Yue and I were almost certain that the baka Li was going to be the one, but he left and now you are completely alone," said Kero.

"Why do I have to be married? What does it have to do with you having a human form, Kero?" said Sakura.

"Master Reed told us that once you succeeded in all the tasks, to make sure that you had someone by the time you were 18 so as to continue the line of card captors. Now that the cards have been transformed, they will only respond to any children you will have and so on. Seeing as how there is no one to insure this anymore, Kero and I will be stepping in and making sure the line is continued and that you are never alone like when Li abandoned you. We love you Mistress, and we will take very good care of you." explained Yue.

Sakura was shocked. She could not beleive that she had to have sex and give birth to an heir just so the cards could have a keeper when she moved on. Sakura had always had feelings for her guardians, but thought they would never be returned. While she was happy that they said they loved her, she was unsure as to whether they only said it to have sex, or if they truly meant it. As she looked up, she was shocked to find both of her guardians already standing and waiting for a response.

Beleiving that they only wanted to make an heir, she protested, "Guys, I don't think I'm ready for anything like this. I will have a child when I'm ready!"

As soon as she started to protest, Yue called upon the sleep card and asked her to use some of her power to drain her Mistress's power so she couln't fight back.

Sakura felt one of the cards awaken and saw Sleep coming down the stairs. Sakura made a move for the front door but felt two arms wrap around her and pull her into a warm, muscular chest, effectively keeping her still. As she tried to escape from Kero's hold, Sleep circled Sakura's head, draining her power for the night. As Sleep went back to the book, Sakura fell against Kero's chest, unable to hold herself up much less try and escape. Kero picked her up and followed Yue up to their mistress's room. He laid her out on the bed and looked towards Yue. "Shall we get started?" he asked. Yue nodded and both guardians stepped towards Sakura, intent on removing her clothes first.
