Magic Fails

Summary: Spells don't seem to work right for some reason, and it's up to the Ink to find out why. M/F.

A/N: Moetan was designed to teach Japanese otaku English. Since the audience here is mostly English speaking, I decided to flip it around and use it to teach Japanese. Oh, and the translations may not be 100% accurate. Translating from Japanese to English is, at best, a very inexact science. At worst, one has to make guesses and hope they're right. Also, note there are several different transliteration systems available. I am using the modified Hepburn system. (This has the topic marker transliterated as wa instead of ha, and the direct object marker transliterated as o instead of wo, as they most closely approximate the sounds of things. The usual two vowels for the long sound in Japanese will be used instead of the macron. AFF's formatting goes crazy when a nonstandard English character is used.) In addition, I am using the informal speech for the most part, although where appropriate, I use formal forms. As of this writing, Moetan is available in fan sub only... However, that will probably change soon.

It seemed like a normal day for Ink. The sun was shining, birds were chirping in the tree outside school... However, something very sinister was up. She was in the air flying to get to school on time. Before she could land, however, her magic gave out and she fell into a tree. Somewhere in the tree, she turned back into her usual appearance. She hit a bunch of branches and leaves, coming out at the bottom, and straight into Nao-kun's face. They crashed into the ground with a thud. Ink quickly recovered from this only to find to her horror that she was sitting on Nao-kun's face. She immediately got off his face and looked at him.

"N-Nao-kun! I'm sorry! Are you o.k.?" Ink asked.

"Uh... I don't know what just happened... But I think I like it." Nao-kun replied in a daze. Ink was not sure of what to make of this. She liked Nao, but she didn't want a perverted boyfriend. Ink merely grimaced at Nao. Nao looked up and saw Ink kneeling next to him.

"Ink-chan... What were you doing up in that tree?" Nao asked. Ink sweatdropped.

"Uh... Nothing! Really! I just saw a mouse, that's all." Ink nervously replied.

"Oh... Well, we'd better get to class or we'll be late." Nao noted.

"Class! Right! Let's go!" Ink replied.

In class, Ms. Kotariho called upon Ink-chan to read from the textbook.

"Bishonen desu ne." Ink said. "It means 'Isn't he cute?'"

"Very good, ink-chan." Ms. Kotariho replied. "Nao-kun, you take the next sentence."

"Anata no en gemu bideo to shoujo motto ookunokane o tsuiyasu" It means: 'Your money is better spent on the videogame with the cuter babes in it.'"

"Very good, Nao-kun." Ms. Kotariho replied. Suddenly, the smell of pine wafted through the class, coming from Ink's schoolbag. It wasn't very strong, but noticeable. The students took notice of this.

"What's that smell?" Sumi asked, the tip of her hair forming a question mark.

"It smells like pine." Ruriko replied.

"Where is it coming from?" Miho asked.

"I don't know." Nao replied.

As they exited class, Nao was talking to one of his friends.

"So have you decided who you're going to do something nice for on white day?" Nao's friend asked.

"Hmm... Yea, but I don't know what I should do for her." Nao said.

"You can't go wrong with a flower." Nao's friend said.

Oh Nao-kun, I wish you were giving that flower to me, Ink thought.

Right after that, Ah-kun stuck his head out of Ink's schoolbag.

"Ink-chan! This is very bad!" Ah-kun said.

"What's wrong?" Ink asked.

"Magic seems to be failing. I tried casting a spell and suddenly there was the smell of pine everywhere." Ah-kun said.

"What!? Ah-kun, we can't have that happen!" Ink said.

"We've got to find out what's going on, Ink-chan! Transform!" Ah-kun said. Ink waved her wand, but instead of transforming her, it made a loud farting sound.

"BBBRRAAAPPPTTT!!" Ink looked very uneasy at this.

"Try it again!" Ah-kun said. Ink waved her wand and then flew up slightly. Her clothes came off as she was surrounded in a bright light. Inside, one could clearly see her tight pussy and firm ass. This, of course, is where Ah-kun was. Ink transformed into her magical appearance, and then came down to the ground to see Ah-kun drooling uncontrollably and with a small nosebleed. Ink wasn't amused by this.

"Must you stare at me like that when I transform!?" She snapped at Ah-kun.

"Well... If you saw your Nao-kun naked, wouldn't you get aroused?" Ah-kun asked. Ink was by no means happy with Ah-kun's answer, but she chose merely to give him the evil eye.

"All right, how do we find out what's going on with magic?" Ink asked.

"Hmm... Use your wand to locate the source of the problem." Ah-kun said.

Elsewhere, Ka-kun was with Sumi. The end of Sumi's hair was in the shape of an exclamation point.

"Something bad is happening to magic, Sumi-chan! It's time to transform and find this problem!" Ka-kun said.

"Right." Sumi said. She then waved her wand, and suddenly a 2 x 4 appeared at her feet. It was roughly 4 feet long. The end of Sumi's hair turned into a question mark again.

"Uh-oh..." Sumi said.

"Try it again." Ka-kun said. Sumi did so, and then out of a clear blue sky, a lightning bolt struck the school's clock. Fortunately, the school had a lightning rod that absorbed it and it went into the ground.

"Dang!" Sumi said.

"You must keep trying! The fate of the world is at stake!" Ka-kun said. Sumi tried again; this time, she got an illusion of a hot stud naked. She saw his well-sculpted pecs, rock hard long and wide cock, and turned red as a beet.

"Magic can be wonderful at times!" Sumi said. Ka-kun merely covered his face with his paw.

Ink was not having much luck with finding the source of magical mystery. Her wand just wasn't responding to her commands. Things were going awry for them. At one point, Ink had summoned a sponge the size of Ah-kun. Another summoned a box of tampons. Ink was getting very flustered.

"Ah-kun, it's not working! I can't get the spell to work!" Ink said. At that point, Shiratori walked in. She was in her magical girl outfit; however, the rabbit ears and tail were replaced with that of a donkey.

"What have you done to magic?" Shiratori asked with anger.

"What did I do? I thought you were the one messing with magic!" Ink replied.

"I could never do something on this scale." Shiratori said.

"Then - who did do it?" Ink asked.

"We have to join forces this time to find out!" Ah-kun said.

"I agree with you. However, I fear that your miniscule power, when combined with mine, may not be enough." Shiratori said.

"You never know until you try." Ah-kun said. Thus Ink and Shiratori cast the spell to find the source of this problem together. Unfortunately, as Shiratori feared, it wasn't enough. Things went wrong and the leaves on a nearby tree went from green to mauve. They all sweatdropped.

"It's worse than I feared. I don't know who could do something like this!" Ah-kun said.

"There might be a solution. There's another magical girl in the area. If we combine power with her, it just might work!" Ink said.

"At this point, I see no other solution to this." Shiratori said. "So where is this other magical girl?"

Ink-chan paused for a moment and thought.

"Uh... I don't know... But I think I know someone who does..." Ink replied. She, of course, correctly inferred that her rival Sumi had something to do with Ink's magical rival. So they went towards Sumi's house only to find Sumi on the street with Ka-kun. Next to them was a big pile of junk.

"Sumi-chan! We need you to change into the magical girl!" Ink said.

"I've been trying for the past 30 minutes! I can't do it!" Sumi sobbed. The tip of her hair turned into the frowning emoticon. (v_v)

"Maybe if we helped, you could do it." Ink replied.

"It's worth a try." Sumi said. Together, the three of them were able to allow Sumi to change into her magical girl form. After that, a policeman came upon the scene.

"Girls, is this your pile of junk blocking the road?" The policeman asked. They all sweatdropped.

"Uh... No..." Sumi lied.

"Well, would you please move it? We don't want to block traffic here." The policeman said.

"Uh... Okay..." The girls said. The policeman tipped his hat and walked off. Well, they decided to cast a spell to get rid of the junk. Naturally, the spell went wrong, and they ended up turning the junk into a wall of water that swept them off their feet and sent them floating down the street at high speed.

"Yeow! I hate water!" Ka-kun said.

"Ah! I can't swim!!" Shiratori shouted. They ended up several blocks away before stopping. They had encountered several storm drains along the way, and this eventually took care of the tidal wave. They gradually landed on another street.

"*Cough!* *Hack!*" Shiratori said as she spat water from her mouth.

"Ooh... Where are we?" Ink asked. They had never ventured into this section of town. It was too dangerous, so they were told.

"Hey... This marking looks familiar..." Ah-kun said. Ka-kun and Na-kun studied the marking on the wall.

"Tekigun!" Ka-Kun said.

"That megalomaniac is here!? Oh dear..." Na-kun said.

"Uh... Who is this being you call Tekigun?" Ink asked.

"Only one of the most ruthless and sadistic warlords the magical realm has ever produced." Ah-kun said. "My crime looks like shoplifting next to what he's done."

"He's a one-man army!" Ka-kun added.

"But we sent him to a realm without magic. How did he get here?" Na-kun said.

Ink was sitting at her desk in her magical form cheerfully and proceeded to teach everyone.

"This chapter's phrase is as follows: 'I think the girl has a tight pussy.' Translated into Japanese, it reads: 'Wareme no shoujo katainiri aru to omoi.'" Ink said.
