Escape from Hellview

"Escape from Hellview"
By Samhain
Disclaimer: I OWN NO ONE! Except my ocs....
Notes: Sorta a Pokemon/DBZ/Ranma 1/2/Shaun of the dead/Dawn of the dead crossover. Bear with me. Jacklyn, Jes, Trunks (Not from DBZ, the ass just HAD to have the same name) Kitty, and Misti are all ocs that belong to me and my friends. Consider stories by me that involve Vegeta and Jacklyn as another universe (Like how Marvel and DC do lol) I'll create a fic one day that'll describe the details. But basically, Bulma exists, just not the way she does in the show. You'll see. Oh and please bear with me on updates after ch5. I'm hitting a bad block right now. Please rate and review. Thanks!

Chapter 1

Halloween fell on a cloudy night as Jes Rocket and his friends decided to go Trick-Or-Treating. Jes chose to dress up as a low budget horror movie werewolf. His friend, Misti Clearwater, walked with him clad in a cheap looking mermaid costume. Trunks Tai completed their group as a Ninja. The group was making their way to pick up two more of their friends before they officially began making their rounds to collect candy.

Shampoo was the one to answer the door when Trunks knocked. She looked strange in her costume that immensely confused the trio before her. Her long purple hair held insane amounts of hair gel and holding spray to make it seem straight and stringy as it fell over most of her white painted face. Her clothes were black, ripped, and covered with fake blood that was also smeared about her face. Her reddish brown eyes were outlined with black liner that was smeared ghoulishly.

“What are you supposed to be?” Jes asked, raising an eyebrow at the short Chinese Amazon girl. She answered in her normal bubbly voice and bad grammar.

“Shampoo am creepy Ju-On girl from “The Grudge” movie.” She was then joined by Mousse who looked as if he spent a total of three minutes on his costume. He wore a ripped white t-shirt with a plastic hatchet embedded in the chest. Fake blood was doused over the rest of him. He carried with him a bowl of assorted goodies that he immediately began dispersing onto Jes and his friends.

“Oh cool! Our first Trick-Or-Treaters!” He exclaimed happily, completely oblivious to who was standing before him. “Wow, what great costumes…I think..”

“Glasses, baka.” Shampoo muttered to him, nudging his side gently. He responded by blushing slightly and putting on his thick glasses.

“Gomen. Oh, it’s you guys.”

“Yeah, love you too. Are you guys finally ready?” Jes asked impatiently. They nodded after Mousse argued that he was ready for hours before Shampoo was. Apparently, Shampoo had taken her sweet time in preparing herself for fright night.

“Shampoo forget to ask. Where Jacklyn? She still mad at overly horny ex boyfriend?” Shampoo asked, pointing her finger at Trunks. Jes nodded. It was clear that Jacklyn was still very upset with Trunks after he dumped her for her once best friend. Trunks narrowed his eyes at the Chinese Amazon.

“Hey, I am not overly horny!”

“You no should have dumped Jei-chan for whore! She know how to keep legs together!”

“Alright, enough you two!” Jes intervened. Shampoo crossed her arms indignantly.

“Jei-chan better off with warrior monkey-boy anyway.” She muttered under her breath referring to Jacklyn’s new love interest who was a Saiya-jin Prince named Vegeta.

“Shampoo, don’t exacerbate things.” Misti told her quietly. Shampoo looked at her, confused, as did everyone else in the group.

“What that mean?”

“It means to make worse.” Misti answered, rolling her eyes.

The group had been out for a good hour or so before the houses in their area started to close up for the night. The five of them sat on the side of the road digging through their trick-or-treating bags to find what sugary treasures they had received. Misti glanced around to see that there wasn’t anyone else around them. It was as if every trick-or-treater had suddenly disappeared. It was odd in that they should have seen at least one or two kids on their way home. She looked at her watch to find it was only seven thirty at night.

“You guys, maybe we should go home.” She suggested, rubbing her arms to generate some heat. It was beginning to get a little chilly outside in the cool October air. “I mean, I think everyone’s inside asleep already.”

Trunks and Jes, who were in the middle of singing a song together, stopped to look around.

“No they’re not. There’s still one trick-or-treater who’s out.” Trunks commented, pointing with his thumb to a boy a few yards away from them who was walking slowly. “I think he’s supposed to be a zombie or something.” Trunks laughed a bit and resumed his song with Jes. They sang loudly and slightly off key with their laughter.

Suddenly, they were interrupted in mid-song by the trick-or-treater who moaned loudly. They snickered a bit and then sang out a drum and bass line in their song, stopping and turning their heads to the boy who moaned loudly again. They repeated and got the same reaction from him. They snickered again.

“He’s not bad. Maybe he can sing bass or something.” Jes commented.

Without warning, the trick-or-treater sprinted to them, snarling crazily. He latched onto Trunks who screamed obscenities and demanded to know what the boy was doing. The trick-or-treater made motions to bite Trunks, but with the help of his friends, managed to get him off. The crazed trick-or-treater turned and bit Misti’s arm, tearing a large chunk out of her flesh. She howled in pain and struggled against him. Jes grabbed his neck and threw him to the ground.

The trick-or-treater didn’t waste any time getting back up and charging again. This time he bit deep into Misti’s neck. When her friends pulled him away, he ripped out her jugular vein which snapped with a sickening sound, spraying her blood onto everyone in the fray. Misti sank to the asphalt, beginning to go into shock from losing so much blood. Trunks leaped onto the boy and slammed his head into the road. He kept punching and pounding the trick-or-treater’s head until he eventually stopped moving, his head bleeding profusely and his brain matter spilling.

Trunks then turned his attention to his friends who were huddled helplessly around the fallen Misti. The young girl was shaking violently and gurgling in her own blood. The group held her the best they could, all of them shouting at her to hang on long enough for them to get her to a hospital. Soon enough, however, the shaking stopped and they knew she was dead.

Shampoo rose to her feet, tears streaming down her face. She was screaming hysterically in Chinese, her English being so limited that in her state of shock she’d only get lost in her words. Trunks stayed at her side as everyone else slowly ascended to their feet, all looking pale and nauseous and talking quickly, loudly, and angrily. Trunks felt for a pulse over and over, but found none.

“What we go to do?” Shampoo said finally in semi-English, sobbing uncontrollably. She clung to Mousse who looked close to being in the same shape as she. “What wrong with him? Why he bite Misti-chan?”

“I don’t fucking know, Shampoo!” Jes shouted. Shampoo whimpered but didn’t ask anymore questions. Jes apologized after taking a deep breath. “I’m sorry. I don’t know what happened exactly.”

“You think that guy was rabid or something?” Trunks asked shakily, joining them. Jes turned to face him to give his opinion. His eyes suddenly widened and he let out a gasp. Shampoo glanced over and screamed for all her worth, diving further into Mousse who nearly tripped over his own feet to pull her and himself away, also shrieking in fright.

Trunks slowly turned around to see a very bloody Misti rise to her feet, growling deep in her gashed throat. Blood oozed from her mouth and neck wound as she staggered towards Trunks, bloody arms outstretched. Like the trick-or-treater, she suddenly lunged at Trunks, biting at him.

Jes raced to his side, grabbing Misti by her hair in attempt to pull her off of Trunks, who was struggling with all his strength. Mousse let go of Shampoo to grab hold of a tree branch. He snapped it off and quickly ran to Trunks’ aid.

Meanwhile, Misti had managed to sink her teeth into Trunks’ hand, biting down hard until blood spewed to the surface. In a panic, Mousse smacked Misti in the head with the tree branch with enough strength to send her flying to the ground. She quickly jumped back up, hissing viciously. Mousse swung the branch like a baseball bat and hit her again in the head. From there he continued to hit her until she didn’t move.

Mousse stood still, breathing heavily. He looked at the branch, which was now covered with Misti’s blood and some brain matter as well. Losing control, he promptly doubled over and puked repeatedly. Jes patted his back until he was done. Mousse slowly straightened and wiped his mouth, still breathing heavily.

“What… the FUCK IS GOING ON!?” He screamed suddenly. Shampoo whimpered, hugging herself and seemed to be fighting back the urge to throw up as well.

“We’ve gotta get out of here.” Jes stated plainly. He looked over at Trunks who was tearing some of his shirt to make a bandage for his hand. “You okay?” Trunks nodded and tied the bandage tight over the wound. “We need to get out of here. We need to get to somewhere safe where we can get some help.” He sounded more like he was trying to tell himself what to do rather that tell everyone else what should be done. Never the less, they agreed.

“Shampoo scared for Jei-chan.” Shampoo said softly. Mousse wrapped an arm around her to comfort her.

“Jes, that might not be such a bad place to stay, you know. It’s not too far away from here, we could make it in a few minutes if we ran. Plus I’m sure Jacklyn’s gonna need some help if there are more people like this.” Mousse pointed out.

“Wait a minute, how do we know there are more of these things?” Trunks asked. “I mean, if there are, then yeah maybe we should see if Jacklyn’s okay, but still.”

“Trunks, wise up. We’re not stupid. We’ve all seen the movies, we know what these things are. They’re zombies, they have to be!” Mousse argued. “I mean, Misti was dead, you even checked her pulse! And she just got back up and bit a chunk out of your hand! Plus, did you see what happened when we hit Misti and that trick-or-treater in the head? They went down and stayed down.” Shampoo nodded slowly, still looking as if she could puke.

“Moussu-kun has good point.”

“But if what you’re saying is true, that means I’m infected! You’re saying I’m gonna be a fucking zombie!? NO WAY!” Trunks began to panic with the realization of the graveness of his personal situation.

“Trunks, calm down.” Jes placed his hand on Trunks’ shoulder to calm him. “Look, we’ll go to Jacklyn’s house and get some help and some medicine for your hand. You won’t be a zombie, trust me, okay? We’ve all gotta, you know, stick together and not panic. Everyone grab a tree branch or something hard enough to break a human skull. We’ll walk together and if there are more of those things out there, we’ll handle it until we get to Jei’s house. If one gets too close to you, bash them in the head, that seems to work.”

The group nodded. One by one they gathered protection and said one final goodbye to their fallen friend before they set off to find safety in Jacklyn Tenshi’s house.
