Pokemon; Generation Shaymin Sky Forme!
"Yuki! Come on Dear wake up."
Yuki woke slowly and mumbled something before burying her face in her pillow.
"Five more minutes." She murmured.
"No Dear. Your parents are here." Her great grandmother continued.
THIS news got a reaction. Yuki bolted straight up glaring out from under masses of long hair.
"Why?" She demanded. Her great grandmother continued pulling back the thick curtains covering the room's large windows before she answered.
"It IS your sixteenth birthday today. Perhaps they wish to give you something."
"They never cared enough to come before." Yuki scowled and her great grandma sighed and smiled gently.
"Please just go welcome them."
Shirona was both pleased and a little sad and nervous when her only daughter rushed into the kitchen.
"Walk don't run." Goyo said calmly and cooly. The girl instantly stopped and looked mad and upset as she eyed both her mother and father. Shirona was tall and blonde with the title of Sinnoh League Champion. Meant she was one of the most powerful pokemon trainers in all of Sinnoh. Goyo was the last Elite Four member underneath Shirona. He had peirceing lavender eyes and hair and always dressed in a maroon suit. Yuki had of course heard the stories many times. How these two felt great love for eachother but how when Yuki was born, they had both been too busy to raise a child..
"How have you been? You look healthy enough." Shirona said in her calm voice.
"I was just fine! Iv'e been doing great in fact! I love being raised by Great Grandmother." She said staring her parents down. Goyo eyed her before rising gracefully to his feet and holding out a pokeball.
"Here. An early birthday present. From Shirona and I." Goyo said sounding a bit uncomfortable. Because he had not often seen his daughter, he had no idea how to be a father.
"What is it?" Yuki asked taking the pokeball warily.
"Open and see." Shirona said a hint of excitment entering her voice. Yuki pressed the button and in a flash of light..IT appeared. It looked like a blue and black dog or fox standing on two legs.
"Riolu!" It said in a high pitched voice.
"My Lucario just had it really. It only hatched yesterday." Shirona said. Yuki stared down at the little pokemon angrily. THIS is what her parents..after forsaking her so long decided to drop in her lap!?
"I don't want it! Take it back! And leave me alone!" She yelled whirling around and running from the house. She did not care that they were crying for her to return. She ran until she had left Celestic Town far behind. She ran through the forested area around her hometown. The tree branches struck her face but she didn't care. Tears were streaming down her face in torrents. I hate them! I hate them!
After some time passed Yuki realized she was completely lost and that it was getting cold and windy. She reached a small clearing and collapsed down onto her knees out of breath and overwhelmed with emotions. She shivered and realized it had started to rain hard. She crawled over to a large tree and huddled up shaking with cold. I..wish I was home, she thought. But just then she heard crooning beside her. She opened her eyes and stared in surprise. A pokemon was also crouched beneath the tree gazing at her with large gentle eyes. It looked somewhat like a white dog with green ears and a flower on it's head.
"Shayyyyyy!" It crooned coming close to lean against her. Touched by the pokemon's trust Yuki wrapped her arms around the pokemon and felt a strange but wonderful warmth fill her. She soon fell into a peaceful sleep trusting the pokemon to watch over her.
Yuki awoke slowly and found the pokemon gazing down at her.
"Oh..you watched over me? Arigatou." She murmured while sitting up and yawning.
"Shaymin." It said solemnly.
"You want me to follow you? Alright I will." Yuki stood up stretching.
The way was long but soon enough Yuki saw her hometown right ahead and stopped breathing hard.
"Thank you. You brought me back home." Yuki knelt and petted the pokemon who nuzzled her hand before racing off and away. Yuki stood up knowing that she would be in trouble for insulting her parents and fleeing from the house. And Great Grandmother must be worried sick too. Yuki took a deep breath and headed into the town and towards her house. She relaxed and entered.
"I am home!" She called out hoarsely because she was thirsty. A loud crash and suddenly her great grandmother stood in the doorway between the kitchen and living room. Tears glistened in her large eyes as she trembled. Yuki ran into her great grandmother's arms hearing the older woman start weeping.
"Oh Yuki! Yuki! I..we did not know what to think!"
"Where are Shirona and Goyo?" Yuki suddenly asked pulling away. More worry seeped into the old woman's eyes.
"But..they left yesterday to look for you. Your mother especially was worried."
"Worried..about me?" Yuki asked shocked. Why would her mother be worried about her? Her parents never cared before. She voiced this thought to the woman who shook her head hard.
"No no! They have always cared about you! Almost every day since I have raised you, your mother has used her Lucario's aura sight to look in on you. She and your father have always watched out for you."
"Oh. I hope they are ok."
"Yuki!!"
Yuki whirled around to see her mother and father along with thier pokemon rush into the house.
"How did you know I was back?"
"Lucario knows quite a bit." Shirona said.
