“Madame President.”
“Oh, hi Lulu,” Milly greeted her classmate cheerfully as he caught up to her. “How are you?”
“I’m well,” Lelouch replied in his usual calm voice. “I never got a chance to answer your question, though.”
“Which one was that?”
“About the date your family set up for you.”
Her face fell slightly. “Oh. So what do you think I should do?”
“I think you should tell them you already have a date that evening.”
“But I don’t! And if they find out I lied to them…” Milly’s golden hair danced around her face as she shook her head. “No, I already thought of that.”
“But you do have a date,” Lelouch replied matter-of-factly.
“No, I don’t.”
“You do if you want to. When’s it scheduled for again?”
“Tomorrow night at seven o’clock,” Milly replied automatically, taken aback by Lelouch’s statement. “And who is this other date with?” she asked after a moment’s reflection, a trace of her usual playful smile touching her lips.
“It’s a blind date too,” Lelouch told her with a smile of his own. “It seems you have a choice between a date I’ve arranged and a date your parents have arranged. If you choose mine, meet your date at the South Gate.” He turned onto the branching path to Knightsbridge Hall.
“Lulu! Get back here!” Milly called after him indignantly. She was about to pursue and pester some answers out of him when the two-minute bell rang. Grumbling to herself, the Student Council President joined the general scurrying to class.
*****
I’m going to go mad, Milly thought. Lelouch was doing the impossible—avoiding her! She’d been trying to find him since yesterday afternoon, with a distinct lack of success. Milly had never had a problem cornering somebody on campus before. The fact that this was so important made it even worse.
How was she supposed to choose without at least a little bit of information? Well, I suppose I have *some* info, Milly mused. On the one hand, her parents were more concerned with a boy’s social eligibility, family wealth, and so forth, so cuteness and personality were totally a matter of chance there. That’s why she wasn’t interested in their arrangements to begin with. On the other hand, there was Lulu, whose matchmaking priorities were an enigma. Just like everything else about him.
Then there were the repercussions to consider if she ditched her family’s arrangements and went out with whoever Lulu had in mind. The questions chased each other around her head as the clock ticked its way steadily towards the appointed time.
At five o’clock Milly threw up her hands and started getting ready to go out. I’ll decide at the last minute, she told herself. Only difference is West Gate or South Gate, after all. She showered, applied make-up, and put on her plum dress with the white trim. By the time she found her gloves and hat, it was ten ‘till seven.
Milly Ashford emerged from the feminine demesne of Applewilde Hall and started walking towards the edge of campus. The quandary was still tearing her brain apart, and she didn’t pay much attention to where she was going. Looking up from the pavement, Milly found herself barely twenty yards from Ashford Academy’s South Gate.
I guess my subconscious chose for me, Milly thought without a smile. Oh, I might as well. I’ve got better odds of a fun evening this way. She walked through the gate.
Nobody in evidence, and no vehicles parked nearby. Milly took her phone from her purse. Seven o’clock precisely. The sound of a motorbike echoed in the distance. Milly replaced her phone.
A motorcycle swept down the road and pulled neatly to the stop in front of the gate. Hey, that’s Rivalz’s bike, but… Lulu!
Lelouch smiled as he dismounted and came towards Milly with studied casualness. “Ready to go?”
Milly scowled playfully, planting her hands on her hips. “If you wanted to ask me out yourself, you could at least have the decency to tell me!” she told Lelouch, running a quick eye up and down his body. He was dressed to kill in a simple black suit with red trim. It walked the razor’s edge between trendy and formal. Milly stepped forward and took hold of the one piece of white cloth Lelouch was wearing. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you wear a tie,” she commented, letting her scowl lapse into a warm smile.
Lulu chuckled. “It wouldn’t do for you to look so lovely while I look like a vagrant,” he replied mildly. He held out his hand in a courtly manner.
Milly took it, her smile brightening even further. “Why, though?” she asked.
Lelouch knew what she meant. “It was obvious you wanted to get out of the other date. I thought we could kill two birds with one stone by having a fun evening as well.” He gave her hand a gentle squeeze and led her towards the motorcycle. “After all, who better than a prince to rescue a damsel in distress?”
Milly was still laughing as they drove off into the night.
*****
“Club Void? No way we’ll get in here, even on a weeknight! We’re totally overdressed, for one thing.”
Lelouch winked and proffered his arm. “Trust me. Overdressed is far easier to pull off than underdressed. All we do is act confident.” He smiled slightly. “We might even start a fashion trend.”
Milly was still skeptical, but she didn’t object further. On reflection, she felt bad for objecting in the first place. Lulu had taken her to a little hide-away restaurant and treated her to the best meal she’d ever had in her life. She still wasn’t sure exactly what the food had been, aside from wonderful.
While she was used to preferential treatment, especially from boys, Milly had to admit to herself that Lelouch was far and away the most charming date she’d ever had. Perhaps it was that he wasn’t making a twit of himself trying to impress her. Perhaps it was that he was absolutely gorgeous. Probably a bit of both. Milly had to fight hard to remind herself that this was just a ‘friends’ date—Shirley had first claim on him. A pity, that, but Milly was not going to rip a close friend’s heart to shreds out of selfishness.
Moral conflict would have to wait, though. First they had to bluff their way into the hottest club in town. Milly settled into her slinkiest walk and wrapped her arm elegantly around Lulu’s. Her mother had taught her a few tricks for looking sexy that she rarely employed, but Milly used them all now. She noted out of the corner of her eye that Lelouch had abandoned his usual air of cool indifference for one of suave sophistication.
Holy cow, it was working. The bouncers studied them respectfully as they approached. “ID and cover, please.”
Milly began to balk, but stopped as Lulu held out two identification cards and two £20 notes. The bouncer took the cash and gave the IDs back after a cursory check. Lelouch pocketed them and strolled into the club with Milly on his arm.
They entered a whirl of chaos and noise. How do they keep the bass from shaking the building apart? Milly wondered idly. She kept a close hold on Lulu’s arm so they wouldn’t be separated as he led her onto the crowded dance floor. Good thing she’d left her purse and hat in the bike.
*****
After two songs, Lelouch was becoming visibly concerned. He drifted to the edge of the dance floor with Milly in tow, then leaned close and spoke into her ear. “I’ll be back in two minutes, okay?”
Milly figured he needed to use the men’s room and nodded, giving him a wan smile. She watched his retreating figure, marveling at the grace of his movements. This is so stupid! She told herself. I’m at the best club in town with the handsomest boy in the school! I should be ecstatic!
The problem, of course, was that Milly should have been out with somebody else this evening, and she knew she was in trouble. No matter how hard she tried to forget it, she couldn’t get the feeling of impending doom out of her mind. A familiar beat wove itself through the dense air.
Eeh yeah eeh yeah eeh yeah…
Oh my God, I love this song! Milly began to bounce on the balls of her feet, letting her body sync with the rhythm. She moved a little ways out into the dance floor, oblivious to the many people around her. She began to dance a bit.
Milly let herself fall deeper into the spell of the song, hopping around as the music moved her. The melody was infectious. Heck with my family. They’ll keep. Where’s Lulu, anyway? I want to dance with him!
A pair of strong arms slipped around her waist, a warm body pressed against her back. Milly was about to squirm away when she heard a voice singing into her ear:
Kiss me red,
Kiss me red and don't forget!
Kiss me red all over, be my lover!
Kiss my lips!
Kiss me with your cherry lips!
Come on, kiss me baby!
Love can save me…
Milly’s eyes went wide. I never knew Lulu could sing! Something in the tone of his voice made her shiver pleasantly. She pressed herself back against him with a smile, trying to find a rhythm with her handsome date. After a few seconds she decided to let him lead, moving in time with the music and the tiny signals Lulu’s body gave her. The music intensified and Milly slipped out of his arms.
The grin lighting Lulu’s face set Milly’s face ablaze. She eagerly slipped her hands into his and let him whirl her around the dance floor. They were heat and motion, caught in the music with no desire to escape. The rhythm and beat pulsed through Milly’s body and resonated in Lulu’s beautiful violet eyes. On a sudden impulse, Milly tugged him up against her and slipped her hands out of his. She grabbed Lulu’s necktie, pulling him even closer as they continued to move in sync. His arms instinctively wrapped around her and Milly pressed herself against him, brushing her nose along his cheek and slipping her arms around his neck.
She felt wild, out of control, but also freer than ever before. Lulu looked surprised at her sudden advance but didn’t pull away. She caught his gaze with her big blue eyes—and in that moment, he became hers. With a sudden pang, Milly realized that she’d longed for this feeling her whole life—to have a special someone of her very own. This wouldn’t—couldn’t—last beyond tonight, but she put that out of her mind. Right here, right now, for this one evening, Lelouch Lamperouge was hers and hers alone. She wound her fingers into his tousled black hair and claimed his lips with hers.
With her eyelids closed, Milly never saw Lelouch’s eyes nearly pop out of his head. She did hear his soft moan of acceptance, though. And she definitely felt him hold her tighter and kiss back. Milly’s head spun. She was either falling, flying, or floating, and she didn’t care which. Her first kiss—and what a kiss! It ended far too soon, and she heard Lulu’s ragged breathing echo her own. Milly clung to him so she wouldn’t fall, shivering as his lips brushed across her forehead.
And then she remembered that they weren’t alone. Clapping. Cheering. A couple of wolf-whistles. Milly looked around and instantly blushed scarlet. She and Lulu were in a little space in the center of the dance floor, and it seemed that everyone in the club was applauding them. What for? She wondered. The DJ was saying something unintelligible through the speakers. Lelouch stepped a little away from her but kept his arm around her waist, steering her to a table. “What happened?” Milly murmured dazedly as she sat.
Before Lulu could reply, a twenty-something girl leaning against the railing behind Milly started gushing: “Oh my God, that was the best dancing I’ve ever seen! You two are incredible! And you, honey, you’re so lucky, he’s absolutely gorgeous!” Lulu cut her prattle short with a gracious thank-you and a pointed look. The girl took the hint and vanished with a last friendly-envious smile.
“You’re quite the dancer,” Lelouch told Milly calmly as he dropped into a chair. She reached out and took his hand, needing the reassurance that it had really happened, that Lulu was really there. He opened his mouth to say more, but closed it again. Milly nodded silently; this wasn’t the place. They stayed there for a few minutes, holding hands and catching their breath. When Milly gave Lulu’s hand a squeeze, he helped her to her feet.
They left the club arm in arm.
*****
“Pretty please with a cherry on top?” Lelouch sighed ever-so-slightly as he shook his head again. “Why not?” Milly demanded, summoning up her very best pout. Lulu laid a hand on her shoulder and tried to move to the side. Milly wasn’t having any of that; she pressed closer, keeping him firmly trapped against the outside wall of the dormitory. He wasn’t going anywhere until she got a satisfactory answer, one way or the other.
Lulu closed his eyes and sighed louder. “Milly, you’re beautiful. You’re fun. You’re one of my best friends. But I took you out to cheer you up, not to seduce you. I don’t see a relationship between us working out. So to answer once again, no. I’m not coming up to your room. I won’t do that to you.”
So that was it. Milly laughed softly and kissed him on the cheek. “Oh, Lulu,” she murmured, “you’re too kind for your own good.” She pushed away a little bit so she could look him in the eye. “I know we can’t have a relationship,” Milly told him seriously. “That’s not what I want from you. You belong to Shirley.” she sighed heavily, ignoring Lelouch’s slight strangling noise. “I’ve always wanted someone special. A boy who will love me, hold me, comfort me… and I know I’ll probably never have that someone. I have no real choice in who I’ll marry. All I want is to know what it feels like.”
Tears brimmed in her eyes. An invisible hand clenched down on her heart. “Lulu… will you be my someone? Just for tonight? I know you really care about me, even if it’s just as a friend. I want my first time to be with someone who cares about me. So no matter what happens, I’ll always…” Unable to look him in the eye any longer, she wrapped her arms around him, pressing her cheek against his shoulder. “Please?” she whispered.
Warm fingers slid under Milly’s chin, lifting her head until Lelouch’s beautiful eyes caught hers. He leaned close and kissed her so tenderly she wanted to scream with joy and frustration. He didn’t speak; no words were necessary. Milly gave him a beaming smile, then seized his hand, pulling him around to the back of the building. In a time-honored tradition, the Applewilde hall monitors never checked the back stairway—bringing boys to your room was winked at, as long as you were discreet about it. And as Student Council President, Milly didn’t have a roommate to complicate things! The simple necessity of going in the back door made her want to giggle. Just one night. She’d make it count for a lifetime.
*****
Milly pushed the door closed with her foot and reached out to throw the bolt without looking. She already had Lulu against the wall, her face buried in his neck. The feel of his warm skin against her lips was ecstasy, fueling the fire that burned across her whole body. For all her flirtatious nature, Milly had never done anything like this. She couldn’t remember ever being so horny; even Lulu’s scent turned her on. He smelled clean, and somehow… gentle. And very, very male. A tiny part of her mind was shocked at herself even as she clawed at the buttons of Lulu’s jacket.
Not that he was doing anything to dampen her ardor. His fingers were running through her long golden hair, making Milly purr like a kitty-cat, and the tender expression on his face would have made half the girls at Ashford faint. In short order Milly stripped Lulu of his jacket, shirt, and undershirt. The pair kicked off their shoes as Milly led him over to her bed and pushed him down into the pink comforter. She backed away with a sexy smile, reaching behind herself for the laces of her dress.
Lulu propped himself up on his elbows and watched hungrily as Milly let the silk fall from her shoulders. She took her sweet time allowing the dress to slip down her body, slowly exposing her breasts, sitting pristinely in a black demi-bra. The feel of the silk sliding over her trim stomach and along her swaying hips only made Milly’s womanhood blaze hotter. Lulu’s eyes told her she was the sexiest thing he’d ever seen. She felt beautiful, desirable, in a way she never had before. It was a bit strange, a bit scary, and absolutely exhilarating. Letting the dress pool around her feet, Milly made an even slower display of slipping off her stockings, leaving her in naught but her black lingerie. She made a little pirouette, showing off.
Milly had always been proud of her figure, and it felt… good to show off like this. Lulu certainly seemed appreciative. He ran his eyes up and down her body, ostentatiously licking his lips. Then he fixed her with a teasing smile of his own as he kicked his socks off. He slipped the button on his pants and slooowly drew down the zipper. Milly found herself running her hands over her breasts as she watched. He lifted his hips and hooked his thumbs under his slacks and boxers, stripping them off in one smooth motion.
Lelouch lay back on Milly’s bed, smiling like a sleepy wolf and stretching to show off his slim, muscular body in turn. Milly was having trouble breathing as she feasted her eyes on his manhood. It was quite a bit… larger… than she had anticipated, and the sight made her shiver in anticipation. She had watched him steadily stiffen and grow as she stripped, but his clothes had disguised the true extent of his arousal. Milly watched a little bead of fluid form at the tip, and found herself moving onto the bed on hands and knees, stalking her beautiful prey.
She hesitantly wrapped her hand around the base of Lulu’s member, leaning down to lap the droplet of pre-cum away. His gasp of pleasure made Milly giggle and she lowered her head further, giving him a slow, languid lick from base to tip. His fingers threaded into her hair, gently urging her on as she took the head into her mouth. Although she knew the theory well, Milly was nervous as she began bobbing her head, trying to remember what Aunt Mary had told her: lips, not teeth; keep your tongue moving; suppress the gag reflex; create suction; hum on and off for vibration. She was so focused that it came as a complete surprise when Lulu’s hips bucked, pushing himself deep into her throat and nearly choking her. Milly backed off a bit and clamped her lips firmly around Lulu’s jerking shaft, reflexively swallowing the hot liquid that shot into her mouth. It was a bit salty, but she liked it; it tasted like Lulu, somehow.
When he wound down she released him, licking excess fluid away. He looked dazed, stroking her hair and murmuring tender incoherencies. Milly grinned and slid herself up Lulu’s body, rubbing her silk-clad womanhood against his hardness. He recovered a bit and enfolded her in his arms, kissing her breathless and stroking her shoulders and back. She felt Lulu’s deft fingers unlatch her bra. It seemed to melt away, and then his hands were on her breasts, stroking and kneading hungrily. Milly rubbed herself against him harder, arching her back as his fingers brushed down her flanks. The scrap of silk between them seemed to vanish too, and the rocking of her hips was smearing her juices along his body. There was only Lulu. His warmth and passion. His strength and gentleness. Milly kissed Lulu hard, holding his lips with hers until black flecks swam in her vision. She was prisoner of her primal, animal passions, swept along for the ride.
And suddenly she was lifted like a feather and found herself straddling Lulu’s face. The first touch of his tongue on her nether lips triggered a scream that Milly barely swallowed in time. She grabbed a thick lock of her hair and tugged it into her mouth, biting down hard as the gentle brush of Lulu’s lips on her bud washed conscious thought from her head. Milly never even tried to track what her lover was doing to her or how. She was adrift in a red sea of lust, white waves of ecstasy battering her mind over and over. Her hands found the headboard and held on desperately as the tallest wave yet swept her consciousness away.
*****
Milly faded back in to find herself under her thick covers, a pair of warm, strong arms holding her tightly. She smiled and nuzzled Lulu’s neck, wrapping her arms around him in turn. That frenzied lust was fun, she thought with a blush, but that’s not what I want to remember about tonight. I want to remember love.
She began to kiss her way lazily up Lulu’s neck and over his cheek. He seemed calmer as well, his hands caressing her lightly, worshipfully. Milly relaxed against him, surrendering to the million feather-light kisses Lelouch rained upon her forehead, cheeks, lips, eyelids, neck, shoulders, breasts. The tender expression on his face brought tears of joy to her eyes; this was everything she had ever dreamed of, and more. The urge to keep Lulu forever rose inside her, fierce and powerful, but Milly quashed it. He didn’t belong to her, and that was that. But there was one more thing she wanted from him, so powerfully it made her whole body throb. “Lulu…” she whispered huskily, “make love to me… please…”
Unrestrained tears of joy flowed as Lulu rolled her gently onto her back, sliding down to kneel between her legs. Milly reached up to cradle his handsome face in her hands, bracing herself and wrapping her legs around his. Lulu took a deep breath, then entered her with one powerful thrust. There was a flash of pain, but it passed almost before it registered. Milly felt… complete. It was strange, wonderful, peculiar, ecstatic. The couple shared an open-mouthed expression of wonder. Then Milly flexed her legs around Lulu’s body, urging him onwards. “Thank you for this,” she whispered into his ear, feeling him move inside her. Lulu smiled in reply and kissed the tip of her nose. Milly giggled.
It was slower than before, more languid, but no less intense. Perhaps more. It took forever, and yet it took no time at all before Milly was crying out in pleasure, biting down on Lulu’s shoulder to muffle the noise and her body arching clear of the bed. Pulses of warmth blossomed inside of her. She found herself whispering Lulu’s name, stroking him tenderly. He murmured sweet nothings right back, carefully pulling out of her and cradling her close.
Milly pillowed her head on Lulu’s chest and held him tightly. She faded off to sleep, content in her own personal heaven.
*****
As she rolled over and stretched, Milly had the fuzzy feeling that she was missing something. She sat up and her eyes fell on the rumpled pink bedspread. Last night flooded into her memory, and Milly desperately cast her eyes around for Lulu. There was an impression in the sheets beside her, but he and his clothes were gone. Then Milly realized she didn’t feel sticky or sweaty. And she was wearing her favorite pajamas, green flannel with embroidered kittens. Lulu had cleaned her up and tucked her in before he left.
And then she saw Lulu’s neatly folded necktie on her nightstand.
Holding the white silk to her chest, Milly buried her face in her pillow and cried, huge wracking sobs that shook her entire bed. For a moment she thought she felt Lulu’s arms around her again, and cried even harder. When they finally began to ebb, Milly wondered if they were tears of joy or sorrow.
{More Author’s Note: Okay, before you flame me, I know that this sort of behavior is completely out-of-character for Lelouch. And for Milly, for that matter. So sue me; it’s all in good fun. ^^
I initially paired Milly with Rivalz, but the simple fact of the matter is that he’s an incredibly underdeveloped character. I honestly don’t have a handle on him. So rather than inventing a deeper character for him—something I am very loath to do—I paired Milly with Lelouch instead.
Rivalz’s motorcycle is the most readily transport for Lelouch that I could think of, unless you count his Burai. Let’s just assume that when Lulu asked Rivalz if he could borrow it he didn’t say what it was for, eh? ;)
The club scene is based off one of my personal romantic fantasies. I hope it works as well in a story as it does in my mind.
If you haven’t noticed, the sex is much more overtly… sexual in this story than in my usual fare. I think it came out fairly well, though. Unlike Shirley or Kallen, I think Milly is just as much a sexual as a sensual person, if not more so. It’s just an impression I’ve formed, and perhaps I’m wrong. That said, I firmly believe that she is NOT a slut. She is a very flirty girl, but that’s a standard type of outgoing personality. I’ve known several women like that, and it does not connotate promiscuous behavior. I actually see Milly as a bit of a tragic figure, all things considered.
As I said in the notes for BMK Ch03, I’m told that virgin couples usually botch things pretty badly the first time around. For this story, we will assume that Milly and Lelouch are not your average couple for the sake of entertainment.
Oh, and Milly’s on the Pill, if you were wondering. ^^
