Don\'t Cry Little Angel

I always thought that Mayu was really cute and felt bad for her considering her past. So I threw this together after I watched the series.


Yuka stood nervously outside the door to the bath. She was joining Mayu and was a bit nervous about it. She had been infatuated with the young girl ever since she had first set eyes on her. After a couple minutes Yuka let out a content sigh, the bath finally washing away the stress that had built up from bathing with her crush. The two began to talk, drifting from one subject to another. Eventually Yuka brought up why Mayu wasn’t with her parents. She regretted asking immediately. Mayu suddenly looked upset and depressed, but answered. Yuka listened as Mayu told her about her mother’s boyfriend. About the things he made her do when her mother was out and how cruelly her mother had reacted when Mayu finally gathered the courage to tell her what he was doing.

By the time Mayu had finished telling her sad tale Yuka was crying. She pulled the girl into a hug, burying her head into her bust.

“You poor thing. How could your own mother say that when you were the one being abused!? No wonder you ran away from home.”

Mayu had been startled by the sudden embrace at first but soon sank into it, enjoying the warmth. Ever since she had been abused by her mother’s boyfriend she had been a bit scared of men and as a result slowly became attracted to girls. Mayu looked up at her, seeing tears in her eyes. “You care for me Yuka?”

The older girl nodded, “I love you sweetie. And I want to make you happy, but if you’re uncomfortable with me touching you like he did, then I won’t.”

Mayu let the words sink in. It’s true that when that man had touched her, she hadn’t enjoyed it one bit. But Yuka was different. She was nothing like that man was, and she seemed sincere when she confessed her feelings. Mayu thought it over, her fear battling against her feelings for Yuka. Her feelings won out, easily putting her fear to the side. Mayu nervously leaned up and pressed her lips to Yuka’s in a chaste kiss. Yuka’s eyes widened at the mild touch, surprised by the bold move from the shy girl.

Mayu pulled back, looking Yuka in the eyes, “I trust you Yuka. I’ll let you touch me if you want to. But only you and nobody else.”

Yuka felt overcome by emotion. She kissed Mayu passionately, but took it slowly so as not to make Mayu uncomfortable again. Mayu sank into the kiss and laid in Yuka’s arms. Mayu got out and took the towel, wrapping it around her petit frame. She threw her arms around Yuka, nuzzling against the older girl.

“Yuka can I stay in your bed with you tonight? Please?”

Yuka smiled and returned the hug. “Alright, but only if I can sleep in your bed with you tomorrow night. Deal?”

Mayu smiled and nodded, “Deal.”

The two giggled and left to go to bed. That night Mayu felt truly happy for the first time since she ran away from home.

I wanted it to be longer, but decided to just keep it short and sweet. Not my best work, but something I had been putting off for way too long and wanted to write very badly. There really ought to be more Elfen Lied stories out there.
