Pokegirls - Dark Messiah

Twigs and brush snapped underfoot, and branches were violently thrust aside as the man crashed his way through the dense woods. Though he considered himself an excellent runner, especially when running away from the authorities, the thick undergrowth slowed his getaway a great deal.
Feral Driads and Nymphs ran away from the racket he was making as he ran, cursing him afterwards. The man did not care about them, or anything else, except from getting away from what was chasing him. Looking back over his shoulder, he could see nothing except a trail of destruction he left behind. Smiling to himself, thinking that he’d eluded his chasers, the man chuckled to himself.
As he turned to face the direction in which he was heading, he just managed to avoid running full on into the claws of a Widow standing directly in his path. Turning on his heels to run in the opposite direction, away from the deadly Pokegirl in front of him, he stood face to face with another Pokegirl, this one a Dark Lady, who placed a long dagger against his throat.
“Shit!” cried the man, stopping dead in his tracks. He could feel the cool metal of the sharp blade pressing into his skin.
“You didn’t think you could out run me, did you?” came a voice from the depths of the woods.
“Damn, man. Call this crazy bitch off!” the man exclaimed. The Dark Lady pressed the blade closer to his windpipe.
“I don’t think she liked that.” the voice called back.
“Ok! OK! I’ll do whatever you want!” the man cried. “Just, please....don’t kill me!”
“Good.” From the shadows of the nearby trees a figure stepped out into the man’s view. Clad all in black, this made the man’s pale skin and red eyes stand out more. The man’s face was emotionless, a long scar ran down from above his left eye and disappeared at the neckline of his trench coat. The ends of his long black hair blew in the wind from beneath a black hat.
The man slowly walked towards the Dark Lady, all the while his expression remained unchanged. Standing next to her, his red eyes seemed to burn into the very soul of his prey. “Celiena, keep your arm steady. We still need him alive.....for now.”
The Dark Lady smiled. “As you say, Master.”
The trapped man swallowed hard, causing his skin to grate against the edge of the blade. A small drop of blood ran down his neck. “W-what do you want with me?”
“Well, for starters...those Pokegirls that you stole from a Tamer named Donaldson would be nice....” The man in black replied.
“Ugh, t-they’re in my pack....” the man told him. Moving his arms, he tried to reach behind him to remove his backpack. Celiena pressed the knife closer to his skin, causing the man to stop his movements.
“Don’t try to get them yourself. Shelob, please get the Pokeballs from this man’s backpack.” the man in black commanded.
Nodding, the Widow moved towards the trapped man, grabbing him by his shoulders, she used her razor-sharp claws to rip the back from the man’s back. Releasing the man, she opened the pack and removed a belt containing six Pokeballs, which she tossed to the man in black.
“Thank you.” Turning to the man, he asked. “Is that everything?”
The man nodded, causing more blood to drip down his neck.
“Good.” The man in black turned and began to walk away. Celiena removed the blade from the man’s throat and followed the man.
Clutching his throat, the man looked dumbfounded at the Dark Lady and the man walking away. “Huh, I got off pretty easy...” Smiling smugly to himself, the man turned to walk away, when he nearly walked into the Widow.
“Oh, Shelob, please teach this piece of scum a lesson...” the man in black called back to the Widow.
Smiling to herself, the Widow quickly twitched her claws and then disappeared after the man in black. The man stood there in shock, his mouth agape. After a minute, he slowly brought his gaze down.
A scream reverberated through the woods, as the man clutched his arms to his chest. His hands lying at his feet.

Chapter 1: Inescapable Destiny

Seated at outdoor café on the main street of Navette, a man hung his head in his hands. Tears ran unchecked down his face as he tried to cope with the loss of his Pokegirls. It had been three days since his girls were taken from him while he slept. Not even his Alpha, Juliet, a Damsel, was spared. Somehow the thief was able to put her into her Pokeball and took off.
The man was about to turn and call for the waitress, a sexy Kitten, when a shadow fell across his table. Looking up, the man turned to face a figure who was wearing completely black. The figure’s features were hidden by a shadow from his broad rimmed hat.
Just as the man was about to say something, the figure tossed a belt containing six Pokeballs at him. The man just managed to catch the belt before it hit the ground.
“W-what? H-how did you manage....?” the man stuttered.
“Simple, you gave me a task, and I completed it.” the figure replied.
Opening a Pokeball, a girl wearing a long red dress appeared. She looked around fearfully, but when she saw the man holding the Pokeball, she began to cry and flung herself at him. “Oh, Juliet You’re safe!”
The Damsel gave the man a squeeze. “Oh, Romeo, of course I’m safe!”
After a moment, the man looked up at the figure. “How can I ever repay you for what you’ve done for me?”
“Well, you could give me the money you promised me.” the figure replied.
Reaching into his pack, the man withdrew an over-stuffed envelope, which he handed over to the figure. “Here you go. Ten thousand League credits.”
“Ten thousand?” The Damsel exclaimed. “That’s all of our funds!”
“It’s worth it to have you back!” the man soothed her. “A million credits wouldn’t even be a fare value for how much you mean to me!”
“Oh, Romeo!” The two began to practically start a Taming session there on the street. After realizing what they were doing, the two stopped, and looked around embarrassed.
Turning to thank the figure, the man was surprised to see an empty place where the figure was standing. “Hmph, that was kinda rude....” he stopped mid-sentence as he saw the envelope lying on the table. A note was laying on top of it.

Dear Romeo,

I’m glad to see you happy to have your girls back. I don’t know what I would do if I was in your position. Keep your money, I don’t need it. Keep a good eye on your girls, for if this happens to you again, I will not be able to help you. This was a one-shot deal. You will never see or hear from me again.

FO

The man looked from the note to the Damsel. “He didn’t take the money....”
“That’s good.” Juliet replied. Pressing her body up against her Tamer’s she began to grind against him. “But, I know something that’s much better than money...”
Grabbing him by his arm, she dragged him down the street to their hotel. A light rain beginning to fall around them.

“Why didn’t you take the money?” Celiena asked, stopping her Tamer with a hand on his arm.
The man looked at her, his face expressionless. “It was all the money that they had, and I’m not going to leave someone without any money to take care of themselves. We don’t need the money anyway.”
Celiena looked at him puzzled. “You keep saying that, Fallen. If we don’t need the cash, then why do you always ask for it?”
Turning, he looked deep within her eyes. “If someone is willing to give up everything to get something, or someone, back, then it’s worth it.” Closing his eyes, he continued. “Sometimes there’s things in this crazy world of ours that are more important than money.” Opening his eyes, he looked at her again. “I have no idea why I’m here, or why I do what I do. But by helping people and keeping others happy, I sometimes forget my own troubles.”
Wrapping her arms around him, Celiena gave her Tamer a hug. “Oh, Fallen. When will you stop living in the past? You know how I hate it when you become all depressed. And why don’t you try smiling more often?”
“I don’t smile.” he said. Taking her chin gently in his hand, he bent down and kissed her. “Don’t worry about me, love. I’ll be fine.” Placing his arm around her shoulders, he steered them out of the dark alley, the rain beginning to fall around them.
“So, where do we go now?” Celiena asked, smiling as Fallen wrapped a fur cloak around her shoulders.
“I don’t know.” he replied. Looking up, he watched the grey clouds roll across the sky, becoming darker with each second. “We should head back to the hotel, it’s going to be one hell of a storm tonight.”
“But the forecast said that it will only be light rains.” Celiena said, looking at the sky.
“Trust me, this is not going to be an ordinary storm....” Closing his eyes, he tuned his mind to his surroundings. “Something’s not right about this storm....”
“What do you mean by that?”
“I don’t know for sure, but I think that things will be a little different after this storm is over.” Taking her hand gently, he began to walk towards their hotel.

Somewhere on the Dark Continent...

A figure stood at a tall window, looking out over the horizon. The open window let in a gentle breeze, making his cloak to blow around behind him. His crimson eyes stared unblinking out over the vast lands before him, almost like he was seeing across time.
It has begun....I can feel it... Hearing soft footsteps stopping behind him, he turned around slowly. “Denaria, I knew it was you.”
The Sanctuary Goth blushed, her eyes downcast. “Somehow you always know...” Looking back up at him, her sadness could be seen in her eyes. “I heard that you’re going to be leaving Sanctuary soon....”
“I have to.” Looking back out the window, he added. “It has begun, can’t you feel it?”
She nodded slowly. “Me and my sisters here have known for a while that it would start soon...” Tears shone in her eyes. “But I just wish that you didn’t have to go....”
Reaching out, he took her chin in his hand gently. “I’m sorry, but I have to. I’ll be back. I promise you that I will come back for you.”
Leaning down, he kissed her. Breaking the kiss, he embraced her tightly. “Don’t worry...Nothing’s going to happen to me. And with luck, you and everyone else will not have to worry about what’s going to happen.”
Releasing her, he kissed her once again. Running his fingers through her long hair, he took one last look at her face before he turned around and jumped out the window.
Rushing to the window ledge, she looked down at the ground, trying to see where he went. From thirty stories up in the air, he should have died in the fall. Spotting a crimson and black figure running through the dense woods, she sighed. “Nothing could ever stop you, not even death. Farewell my love....”
Turning, she walked away from the window, vanishing in the shadowy halls of Sanctuary.

Author’s Note: Well, a little shorter than I would have liked it, but I think that it’s a good start to this new series. This is the first chapter of my new Pokegirl series, Dark Messiah, and I hope to have the next new chapters out soon. This story will be getting a little darker than my other series, Pleasure & Pokegirls, as well as exploring the darker side of the Pokegirl genre.

The time for the setting of this series is around chapter 13 of P&P, about 308PS.
