“Wolfram I didn’t consent to it”

Lord Wolfram Von Belefield was just about to wrench open the bed chamber door when the implication of Yuuri’s words finally reached his brain. He paused and slowly turned around to face Yuuri, who was still sitting on the bed his head bowed.
“Yuuri, what exactly do you mean?” Wolfram asked hoping he was wrong in his assumption.
Yuuri looked up his pitch black eyes filled with tears that refused to fall, “I mean exactly what I just said. I was forced, violated, sexually assaulted….raped.”
“Oh, Shinou….Yuuri!” Wolfram pulled the dark-eyed king into his arms “Yuuri I am so…”
“Don’t.” Yuuri pulled back “I didn’t tell you about this so you could pity me. I told you because I believed you had a right to know.”
Wolfram stared into the double black’s grief filled eyes, “Yuuri…who…when….what happened exactly?”
Yuuri sighed, “It was when I was twelve. I don’t know who they were I mean it’s not as if we were formally introduced. As for what happened I only remember bits and pieces. I remember walking home from school and taking the short-cut through the park, something I’d done millions of times. I don’t know how I was captured, all I know is that when I woke up I couldn’t do anything…move, struggle, not even scream. Now that I think about it I was probably drugged. All I could do was lay there while three men used me as if I was nothing more than a common whore. I lost consciousness somewhere along the line and when I woke up I was back in the park leaned up against a tree fully clothed.”
Wolfram gulped as tears came to his emerald eyes and thought, ‘To be raped is one thing but to not even have a chance to fight it is another. Oh, Yuuri I am so sorry.’
“Yuuri I…”
“I’m sorry, Wolfram” Yuuri refused to look at the green-eyed bishounen “I understand if you don’t want to go on with the wedding.”
Wolfram gasped, “What!?” He took hold of Yuuri’s shoulders and stared into his dejected black eyes.
Yuuri bit his lip and fought back tears, “You…you blame me right? I mean I’m a boy after all. Boys don’t get raped.”
Wolfram’s eyes widened, “Of course not! I’d never blame you for that! Did you think if I knew you’d been violated I wouldn’t want you anymore?”
“You mean you don’t care…that I’m not a virgin?” Yuuri asked quietly tears silently falling down his cheeks.
Wolfram sighed and sat down next to the crying double back and pulled him unresistingly into his arms. He placed a kiss on Yuuri’s forehead.
“Yuuri, I don’t blame you, and as for you not being a virgin…well to me you still are.”
“Huh? Wolf…I just told you…”
Wolfram placed a finger to his fiancé’s lips, “Shh…let me explain…I know you were raped and technically that does mean you are no longer…a virgin. But to me you are still innocent and I plan on treating you as such on our wedding night.”
Yuuri smiled faintly, “Thank you, Wolfram.”
A few moments passed before the double black Maoh of Shin Makoku pulled out of Wolfram Von Belefield’s loving embrace, “Ah, Wolfram wasn’t there something you wanted to talk to me about”
Wolfram blinked in surprise, “Oh, right. Well it is three days until the wedding, and it’s customary for the seme of the relationship to explain the wedding rituals and traditions.”
Yuuri turned beet red, “I’m guessing you are the seme, right? Besides I don’t know the wedding rituals and traditions of shin Makoku.”
Wolfram rolled his eyes, “Of course, I’m the seme. After all you are the one who proposed.”
“Uh…what does my proposing have to do with which one of us is seme or uke?”
“You mean you don’t know?” Wolfram asked with an inclination of his head “I thought everyone knew that only a uke can propose.”
“Huh…only ukes? Why?”
“Ukes propose to show that they have strength to look after themselves, while acknowledging the fact that they need someone to look after them in their moment of weakness. That is why the art of proposal is a slap. The uke slaps the seme to show that person that they have strength, but also that they trust their chosen seme to care for them.”
Yuuri sighed, “Okay I think I understand. On Earth it’s the exact opposite.”
“Exact opposite…does that mean the seme proposes?”
“Yeah, the seme proposes by getting down on one knee and asking. If the uke says yes the seme gives them a ring that is placed on the left ring finger to show others that person is taken. The seme proposes to show the uke that he has a sensitive side, and is not afraid to show it.”
Wolfram studied Yuuri’s face for a moment before he stood up, took hold of his left hand, and pulled Yuuri to his feet.
“Wolf? What’s wrong?”
Wolfram sighed, “I don’t have a ring for you. But I am not afraid to show you I can be sensitive.”
“Wha….Wolf?!” Yuuri gulped as he watched Wolfram kneel down on one knee.
“Yuuri, will you marry me?”
Yuuri’s black-eyes filled with tears at unexpected question causing Wolfram to panic, “What? What is it? Did I ask wrong? Am I on the wrong knee? Is it bad to ask without a ring?”
Yuuri chuckled and wiped the tears from his eyes, “No, you haven’t done anything wrong. I just didn’t expect you to do this.”
Wolfram’s eyes softened, “Well you proposed to me according to shin Makoku tradition. I thought you deserved to be proposed to according to the tradition you were raised.”
“Yes.”
“Huh?”
Yuuri smiled, “You asked me to marry you. I’m saying yes.”
Wolfram pulled Yuuri into his arms and placed a chaste kiss on his lips, “I promise I’ll get you a ring.”
Yuuri nodded his face now the color of a fire-engine in reaction to the surprise kiss.
“All right we should go over the traditions. For one I will not be allowed to see you until the ceremony nor will any other man.”
“I guess that means you won’t be sleeping here the night before the wedding, huh?”
“Correct. Anyway, you’ll be woken up at dawn just as first light is beginning to appear…”
