This Christmas
Merry Christmas
Shuichi Shindo watched in facination as the lights blinked in time to the music. His love, Yuki Eiri sat next to him in the rental car. They'd decided to spend Christmas in America this year, and locals had told them of some houses that had spectacular lighting displays.
"How long do you think it would take to do something like that?" Shuichi turned his eyes from the lights to look at Eiri, smiling as the colors danced across his face. "That looks difficult... I wonder if the neighbors complain?"
Yuki lit a cigarette then turned the stereo down.
"Probably all year. Could you imagine if just ONE light went out?" Yuki laughed as Shuichi gave him a stunned look. "Remember when we had that strand of lights on our tree?"
Shuichi laughed and nodded. It would probably take daily checks to make sure all lights worked properly.
"At least the music is set on a radio station, the neighbors don't have to listen to the music all the time." Shuichi turned his attention back to the lights. They'd been to a few different displays and some of the music seemed to be from the same band. "Yuki, what's the band that does this music?"
Yuki moved the paper he'd used to block the light from the radio. He smiled as the name scrolled across the display.
"Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I think they sound awesome, taking classics and waking them up a bit." He pulled out a pair of tickets and waved them "I got us tickets to see them live. I saw the news reports about houses like this, and thought I'd bring you to see them."
Shuichi grinned and moved to cuddle closer to Yuki, feeling the older man's lips touching his. He deepened the kiss, sighing happily. He needed the break, the tour schedule had been hectic, but fun. This was a vacation alone for them. Tohma and Mika had insisted on it, taking Riku for a couple of weeks.
A while later, they made their way back to the hotel. Shuichi smiled as he entered the warm room, turning to kiss Yuki deeply. After all they had been through, the break ups and reunions, sickness and health.. through it all... they had stuck it out. He blinked in surprise when Yuki pulled away to lead him to the bed.
"Shuichi, I know that our relationship has been rough and not matter what, we've managed to stick things out. I never realized how much I could love someone. You've helped me learn to not only love myself, but others as well."
Shuichi held on to Yuki, resuming their kiss. Within moments, they had each other stripped and moaned softly as their skin touched. Shuichi moaned as he felt Yuki prep then enter him slowly. It was slow, gentle... tender. Shuichi wasn't used to the tender romantic side of Yuki. The side that made slow, passionate love. Shuichi couldn't help the tears that filled his eyes as they came together, kissing each other's lips in a slow, fluid grace. He slid one hand up the bed and felt a square shaped box...
He pulled it to him and opened it.
"Yuki??"
