Prologue part 1: the Earring
"No!" SLAP!
To Heiyue Wang, the rejection stung worse than the slap, as it was motivated only by his poor choice of outfit - a Mao suit. He had been respectful, had tried to ask to girls who appeared to have similar interests to him and seemed to be in junior high like him, and yet all the T.A Academy schoolgirls he approached saw his Mao suit and at best came up with a lame excuse. The school festival was supposed to be a moment for mingling between students of different schools, but the T.A girls didn't seem to have gotten the message.
"What's the point in being a nice guy if this always happen?" he said, remembering also other incidents.
He was walking aimlessly, just trying to calm down away from the school festival area before possibly trying again, when he spotted a bright light behind a building, and decided to take a look - and he wasn't expecting what he saw.
"The Sailor Senshi exist?!" he whispered, seeing Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor V in a costume similar to the others. And, unexpectedly, not Sailor Mars but upperclassman Chiba - there weren't many people who'd go around dressed in evening jacket, top hat, mask and a goddamn' cape in the afternoon, and not only he had already spotted him in that ridiculous outfit once in front of a jewel shop, he also knew he had been at the same festival with his girlfriend. That, by how close they were standing, was a superheroine. Why him?!
Still, better not being seen - rumor was that Sailor V had a bodycount, and since he had the impression to have stumbled into something he wasn't supposed to see he decided to hide behind a bush.
After a few minutes the Sailor Senshi and Chiba left, talking of how Rei-chan (possibly Sailor Mars real name?) had been kidnapped, and he came out - and saw something shining in a corner. Curious, he decided to see what it was - a strange earring, with the finding in what appeared to be gold and a large black crystal pendant.
"Nice..." he told himself as he picked it up to give it to the staff - whoever had lost it must be looking for it. Before that, however, he decided to try it out to see how he looked, so he went to the nearest bathroom... And put it on, unknowingly changing everything.
