Short but mysterious. Regardless of his past troubles with Shine, Tenpou seems to have a lot of respect for her squad and what their accomplishments have been. So maybe now some conscious reassessment of her as more than a nuisance. Though brief, your descriptive talents are showing. I'm on the edge of my seat!

Interesting... very interesting.. *snickers* I'd feel sorry for Tenpou, but really... of course he and Shi need to be locked in a closet until they get things worked out between them.

Hard questions, indeed! Is it just me or is Sanzo starting to act civil (relatively speaking, of course) to the ikkou as he did to Shine and the group in heaven in the recent flashbacks we have seen. He's much too clever and holy (though he'd deny that with his dying breath) to just let these coincidences go uninvestigated. I think Gojyo was very much a friend to Hakkai to answer his question honestly. And if Gojyo can see the issue so clearly, then Sanzo probably too might think the same way about Kanan's actions--or even Goku? Though he's too kind to ever hurt Hakkai by saying that uninvited. Your story is getting more and more interesting. I'm starting to wonder what will happen to the journey west if the ikkou get involved with earthly relationships. There's not any extra room in Jippu, yet the Minus Wave must be nullified. I feel something very, very bad is going to happen. But in the mean time I am enjoying what you're doing with this plot. Excellent work!

There's just something so appealing about a woman in charge, though supposedly there should have been no distinction in heaven. Looks like Tenpou is confused over many things, not the least of which is his sudden realisation that he doesn't know Shine at all .. and now he really wants to! I hope she does a number on those men who beat up Goku. What a spineless thing to do. Excellent writing, as always. New surprises in every chapter. I'm glad she called Tenpou on acting hypocritically. It seems like he is just following the scent of her crotch and not thinking things through.

*Snuggles Shi-ne* Poor girl. *smickers* DOn't worry. Once Tenpou gets the CLue Bat Dent in his thick skull straightened out, he'll figure out how to make various things better.

What the #£*'@!! Kanan selfish? The idea is so ... well, ... uh, ... reasonable .... You've just turned everything I thought I knew about Saiyuki on its ear!! What have I really been seeing and thinking when I would watch it? Obviously not what was right there before my eyes. What a fresh and amazing idea! I started not to read this story, since I am not into het at all, but look what I would have missed! Thank you for daring to say what others would have dismissed out of loyalty to fanon, if not canon. You just keep getting better and better with your insight into characters. Excellent writing, and thinking!

This is intersting, but question are you gonna continue your Deadly Beautiful fic? I like that one to and would love to see it continued

Hmmmmm, it seems like Goku is trying to get Tenpou and Shine together ... though in his innocence he may just be needing support from his friends. His nightmare sounds scary, I hope it is not prophetic. Wonderful job in setting the action on earth up by flashbacks to heaven. Superb writing, you make it look so easy. Action flows like honey.
