I agree with Shi in heaven, that if all that's making Tenpou notice her is her looks she doesn't want the attention. After all his negative comments to her, I would be leery of an about face, too. Sanzo is actually talking to someone in a civil manner in this story, both in heaven and as Sanzo. It's a welcome change. But I like the feelings of connection that Hakkai and Rei express. It's not like they'll have their leisure to gradually explore each other. Things move pretty quickly in the land of the minus wave. I wonder if Goku will pick up on feeling a connection, too, like he did before about his former friend and protector. This story is just gliding along smooth as silk, with revelations in each chapter. Wonderful storytelling! Keep going!

*hands Sanzo a sniper rifle* Ni Janyi is thataway. Go for it, Darling. He deserves it for "Kami-Sama" if nothing else.

*smirks* Gotta love Kanzeon. Se's always interesting.

And the interaction between Rei and Hakkai is just plain *fun*.

Kozen knows the way to her bedroom 'cause she's his spritual sister silly. Even if neither will admit it.

*snickers* Poor Tenpou. Poor Shi. hopefully they'll get their acts together if not in one life in the next.

I'm surprised that Rei had such a sad ending to her father's life. A very unusual and noble thing for a youkai to do, but indicative of the kind of character he instilled in his daughter. I'm impressed with Goku's uncharacteristic generosity with his food. When Rei promised the Merciful Goddess that she would return to heaven if she hadn't found Tenpou after 500 years, I thought she would be cognisant of who she used to be in heaven while on earth, but her comment about the men in Chapter 9 makes me think that she isn't aware, much the same as the Sanzo party doesn't remember its origins. I wonder how this will figure into Rei and Hakkai getting together. And Sanzo actually made a civil comment! This story is getting more and more interesting. The frequent updates are great!

Hey! I miss your posting for a little while and you already have 8 chapters done! The plot is progressing nicely, and I'm very much interested. I'm glad there's _someone_ Konzen isn't pissy with. It's strange not to see Tenpou and Kenren involved with each other (as in many fanfics). Your writing is excellent as always, and I eagerly await seeing if Rei can woo Hakkai on earth. It looks like she is making progress in the flashbacks of Heaven, and they say 'as in Heaven, so on earth'. I like your fresh approach to the pairings we usually see, and the story line is fresh, too. This is a good, easy read that promises to be very entertaining. It takes a lot of work to make something look effortless!

oooh! *giggles* Hakuryuu has a pair of fan girls who want to love him and squeeze him and name him Goerge...

Wait. Wrong cartoon.

*snickers* I'd feel sorry for Tenpou but she's been chasing him so long that turn about's fair play.

And I could almost see the conversation between Rei and Sanzo under less tense situations.

"Hey Pretty Boy."
"Bite me, bitch."
"Time and Place."

And going on from there.

*grins* Wonderful chapter and looking forward to more.

*cackles and watches the 2x4 Dress hit Tenpou right between the eyes*

Now to watch Tenpou chase Shi-ne for a bit when she starts to distance herself from him......
