At last! I knew they would get physical sooner or later, but I was totally surprised that Hakkai is going all youkai with his limiters still on! Excellent writing, as always. Rei is too hot for words, and she is tender toward Hakkai in his state of confusion. She really could help him a lot to accept his youkai nature and use it to his advantage. So if this is a reflection of what had happened in heaven, then Shine must have had to teach Tenpou something there to help him, or facilitate them getting together. Can't wait to see what happens next. More and more interesting and complex as it goes along.

Nope, nope, can't be. Grey eyes don't exist in real life, ask Scott ;) Maybe if Tenpou is in to blue-grey eyes I actually have a chance! *doesn't have a chance and won't hold her breath* Short, but important. Hell of a conversation to overhear. I'm kinda surprised she hasn't just bowled her way out the front door by now. I think the first thing she should do, after she makes Tenpou squirm until he finally admits to being attracted to her, is slap him and tell him it took his ass long enough ;) That's me, and I dun like slow pokes. *glares at her misbehavin' puppy* Nameless slow pokes, mind you.... ;) Keep up the good work! Can't wait for more!

Now if only Konzen can restrain himself from killing the Field Marshal while Kenren works on Shi....

Wahoo!! Rei and Hakkai in a clinch! Hope that is soon reflected in a flashback of heaven! Shine seems to have both a friend and guard dog in Konzen, but he is softening toward Tenpou. I was shocked he knew about her eyes, too! Like I said, surprises in every chapter. Gojyo is such a sweetheart, whether he's a general or a kappa. I wonder if he is going to plead Tenpou's case. Tenpou really has been a jerk to Shine, I'm sure she's going to need some convincing. Character development in this fic has been excellent. Your writing is a joy to read.

dum dum dummmmmm. Why aren't they stopping? Well, I know why Rei isn't, and that's because Hakkai is a sexy bitch. MM. I love me some Hakkai. PLEASE tell me that she weasles those limiters off. Be a kinder goddess than the Merciful Goddess *big puppy dog eyes* and let them like fall off when he takes his shirt off or something. *is deranged but still has good ideas* All right, my finger's all swol up ;) and hurtin' like a biz-nitch, so I'ma head to bed. Did you just post two chapters together or have I been asleep? Happy to see them, though. One chapter from heaven and one from earth, that's cool, so the action is eventually going to synch. It's amazing the raw power Shi wields, as evidenced by what it took to cool her down even enough to regain consciousness. Looks like Tenpou is going to have to go through Konzen to get to Shi. On earth, though, Hakkai and Rei are taking a more direct, express route to a meeting of the ... uh ... minds. Encouragement from dead husbands and siblings aside, I think Hakkai and Rei are about to get together solely on their own initiative. I loved how Hakuryuu could talk to the larger dragon. Can they transform also? Xan is a firecracker! She seems more the type to follow Gojyo than wait for him to return. Nice advancement of the plot. Very appealing pacing and excellent writing. You make it look so easy to get into these characters' heads, but every chapter you surprise me with what unfolds next!

WOoHoo!!! Go Xan! You've got yourself one by the balls even if he is only starting to realize it....

*giggles* and Rei, better make sure that there's enough room in Jeep for you and Xan 'cause I get this feeling you're both going along....

*snickers* Every chapter I read of her, I fall a bit more in love with Shi. Love her loyalty to her troops and their loyalty to her as well as the confusion Tenpou's tossing at her.

*grins8 Konzen and Shi have *got* to be adopted siblings even if they don't realize it or call each other "sibling".

it's getting crowded in this place! I'll never understand how you keep so many characters straight in your head. a dragon breeder, eh? Sounds interesting to say the least. *is too lazy for caps tonight* very nice chapter as always! Waiting for more, as always ;) *is tired and going to bed now*

I really liked this chapter! It's wonderful when I run across women who are written to be strong, smart, capable and kind. Sexy and smart, what a great combination to stir things up. I'm happy Gojyo is going to see some action from someone above the usual barflies he attracts. He's too sweet and cool to settle for dregs. I hope nothing happens to Shun and her children. You're making me really start to care about these people. Seems like Anya has plans to get Rei and Hakkai together. That will probably happen naturally, reflecting the growing attraction of Tenpou to Shine in the flashbacks of heaven. This chapter was packed with a lot of information and set ups for impending action. Excellent writing.
