Belial

I couldn’t help but feel sorry for the kid when I departed from the pair. She was a cutie pie who knew how to keep her mouth shut good in a tight spot. It hadn’t taken me long to get back to the apartment.

As soon as I entered I was hit with a barrage of waded up clothing. I plucked a Vivian West creation from my face recognizing it as one of Alexiel’s numbers.

“I told you I wanted to do the wash today.” Alexiel reminded me without looking up from what she was doing. She was squatting on the floor jamming a mound of clothes into a purplish color mesh laundry bag. The clothes she had thrown my way were just to get my attention.

I tossed her shirt back into her pile without a word making for my bedroom. I had some things that could stand to use a run through the washer plus I was running low on jeans. Once in my bedroom I snatched up the drawstring bag that held my dirty laundry before returning to where Alexiel waited at the door.

She could’ve easily gone to the basement of our apartment building alone but she claimed it was more fun when we were together.

I didn’t see what was so fun about cleaning clothes period. If I were rich I’d buy a new outfit everyday just so I wouldn’t have to clean clothes or at least hire a kick ass maid to handle all that. But the thought of someone else handling my undies made me uneasy.

I watched as Alexiel dragged her two bags down the hall towards the double doors of the elevator. Since she had a heavier load then me I carried the bleach, detergent and the other necessary tools. I would have to come back up for my other bag. Not that minded.

“How was group?” Alexiel asks as soon as we were safely behind the closed doors of the elevator.

“I made a new friend.” Reply off handedly. She didn’t really need to know about Arachne and his adorable daughter.

Alexiel is quiet her sign to continue if I so wanted.

I didn’t want to.

We rode down in silence

Now normally I hate during my clothes but God decided to make it worth my wild this afternoon.

He was leaning against the door frame almost as if he is posing but as I grew to know him I learned that’s just how he was. Living sex is the best way to describe him.

His dark hair thrown into a sloppy pony tail, his bangs dropping into his face just the right way, his lips wrapped around my favorite poison, his tank clung to the lean flat muscles beneath. He seemed in his own world.

He made me nervous.

Here I am dragging a bag full of shame. I picked the washer furthers from his form quickly packing my A cup bras and questionable clothes inside. Alexiel just shoved hr naughty bits inside her washer without worry. Why should she care if anyone saw?

After setting up my washer I made my way over to the hard plastic orange chairs the had provided for us. It didn’t take Alexiel too long to follow.

I sigh and lean against her shoulder for support. I knew that even in an oversized man shirt and some beat up jeans that he would look at her over me.

“Say something.” Alexiel whispers giving me a little nudge in the ribs.

I shake my head no.

What was I afraid of?

I had no problem with talking to men usually but there is just something intimating about this one.

Taking a deep breath I push myself up from the car.

His cobalt blues stayed the same as I headed for him.

“Can I get one of those?” I ask smiling.

Not one of my best lines but I it’s a opener.

I watch his hand move to his pocket extracting a soft pack of smokes. He holds it out to me, I take one and before I have time to ask he already has the lighter raised to the end.

“Thanks.” I smile as I inhale, breathing in his scent as well.

He smelled like laundry soap and fabric softer sheets but underneath I caught something masculine.

I stood there puffing away on that damned cigarette and nothing more.

“Don’t Belial,” Alexiel’s voice interjected. “She’s normally more chatty.”

His head turns in her direction those icy eyes looking passed me and seeing only her. I watched him drink in her curves.

God I hate her!

“What’s your name?” He asks moving away from the wall.

I lean closer to the wall trying to make myself appear smaller.

Invisible.

“Alexiel.” She raises to her feet her hand out to receive his.

I swore I could see the spark between them.

“Kira,” Kira says before adding, “So, what are you ladies up to?”

So nice of him to include me.

“This.” I gesture towards the laundry room.

He laughs. A rough sounding gaff of an laugh.

“I’m talking about later.” He actual turns towards me.

“Dunno yet.” Alexiel answers.

“Well,” Looking back and forth between the two of us. “my friends and I were thinking about heading out wanna join us?”

“Sure.” We said together.

I didn’t have work tonight so why not.

The buzzer tolls for one of the dryers.

Kira moves for the dryer pulls open the door and starts unloading.

I can’t help but watch as Kira heaps his load into a garbage bag.

He sets the bag down at his feet digging a hand into his pocket producing a silver razor.

“So we can meet up.”

Alexiel goes into her back pocket taking out her cell as well.

I burn Kira’s number into my skull as he rattles off his digits.

“Later.” He calls over his shoulder his eyes moving between the two of us.

I shot Alexiel an look.

She shrugs.

“You two would look cute.”

“Thanks.” I offer an sardonic smile. We know that he was looking at her.

Alexiel returns to her chair.

“I don’t like him Belial.” She says flatly.

“I don’t even know him to dislike him.” I pointed out taking a seat beside her.

I watch as Alexiel picks at her nails.

I sigh.

“Maybe we shouldn’t go?”

She’s still quiet.

I lean against her, “Please Alex-chan?” I beg.

Alexiel cracks a small smile.

“Okay BeBe.”

I lean my head against hers, my red hair blending into her dark locks.

I didn\'t know what I was asking, and if I had still don\'t know if I\'d beg to take it back.
